Angels, demons, and everything in between, this up-and-coming EDM duo will fly the Austrian flag at Eurovision 2022. But first, they’re making a pit stop at the Hard Rock Hotel. We’re delighted to confirm Austria’s LUM!X feat. Pia Maria will perform at the London Eurovision Party 2022

On Sunday 3 April, London’s Hard Rock Hotel will welcome LUMIX and Pia Maria to the UK’s biggest and best Eurovision warm-up party.

London Eurovision Party 2022

The London Eurovision Party will take place on Sunday 3 April.

The long-running Eurovision promotional event returns after a two-year hiatus to celebrate the stars of Eurovision 2022. As ever, contestants from the current edition of the song contest, along with some surprises from yesteryear, will travel to the British capital from around the continent to showcase their songs in front of international media and some of the contest’s biggest fans.

This year’s event will take place inside the glamorous Hard Rock Hotel — just steps away from Hyde Park.

Austria’s LUM!X and Pia Maria is the latest act confirmed to appear at the long-running British warm-up show. Hosted by Eurovision alumnus SuRie and radio presenter Paddy O’Connell, the greats of Eurovision past and present will converge in what promises to be an unforgettable night of celebration.

Can’t wait to see their live performance. Halo is my number one this year and I would love it if Pia Maria has great live vocals. It could be a total party banger with great vocals and good staging and Austria could do really well this year

I feel it will be same destiny like Finland 2019, Poland 2018 or Cascada in 2013 🙁

there’s always a country that skyrockets in the odds after/during the preparties, i really hope it’s austria because this song sounds hard to deliver live and i want pia to deliver! really exciting news to see they’re gonna perform

I feel like the vast majority of this years acts will do some or all of the pre-parties. The only obvious exception is Ukraine, possibly Italy as well since they’re maybe a little too big (but The Rasmus and Achille are also doing the parties so who knows)

Curious: what’s the temperature on Austria’s qualifying chances? I can’t tell based on the few listens I’ve had, but I can only hope for it since it’s now been a few years since they last qualified.

In terms of non-qualifiers turning it around this year, the only one I can confidently say will probably turn it around is Poland.

Austria is 100% qualifying no question (Unless the live is a$$ of course).

Depends on the live performance. If Pia sings well Austria can get a top 10 result. If not they’re screwed.

They only did not qualify in 2019, 2021 …. Netherland did not qualified 8 times in a row or Macedonia 6! Slovakia or Andorra never for example or Montenegro and San Marino or Czech Rep just a few times 🙂

Austria been in the final almost every year so it always Ok to not be in the final every year.

I don’t know if they will sign up to perform at other pre-parties but this will be our first taste to hear how they will sound live.

It will be interesting to see this live. I know lots of Austrians are so excited for this one, and to get back in the grand final after their particular dry patch!
