Nebulossa Zorra
Nebulossa – Zorra Benidorm Fest

She might just be a bitch, but she’s now a bitch with a number one single. Nebulossa has reached the top of Spotify’s Viral 50 Spain list with her Benidorm Fest entry “Zorra“.

Spotify Spain opened 2024 with a number of Benidorm Fest 2024 singles making their debut in the Viral 50 list. Nebulossa, with over 400,000 streams, is one of the most popular artists of the bunch.

Mari, the lead singer, couldn’t hide her happiness about this. She wrote on instagram: This is mindblowing! Thank you to all Zorras who made our little song the most viral in Spain on the first day of 2024.

Marlena also entered the list with their entry “Amor de Verano”, which amasses the most streams so far out of any participant: their entry has been played over 541,000 times. They are, however, at number 92.

Fan favourite Sofia Coll is the second highest ranking artist. Her tune Here To Stay is now at number 23 in the list, with over 330K streams. Ten places after her is bolero sensation st. Pedro, with his entry “Dos Extraños”.

Almácor comes in at number 35 with his song “Brillos Platino”, again, one of the most popular entries from Benidorm Fest, with over 360,000 streams. Noan comes in at place 81 with his song “Te Echo de -“.

Benidorm Fest 2024: A steady success

Benidorm Fest entries have been progressing and little by little getting to the Spanish public. Their appearance at the Viral 50 list is another step towards the show itself, which will happen later this month.

It’s not the first time this happens. In fact, last year’s top lister Vicco was also making the rounds before the contest with her hit “Nochentera” and in 2022, Rigoberta Bandini even hit the Global Viral list.

My favorite is St Pedro, but I’d be happy if Nebulossa or Marlena won too tbh

If Zorra doesn’t represent Spain, perhaps its destiny is to become the Nochentera of 2024, the big commercial hit people remember at the end.

It will probably be Zorra or Marlena’s song then.

This and St:Pedro are my favourites. I can speak spanish and these lyrics are a great challenge for me to discover. But even you don´t understand the strong synthetic sound takes you away, I´ve already an earworm..-…

¡Mucha suerte ! Voy a cruzar mis dedos.

An article about Benidorm Fest entries on Spotify top lists but nothing about the Israeli national final auditions which are now over and we are down to 14 artists left.
Thanks a lot Wiwibloggs… I thought you were better than that.

I’d love to see Nebulossa or Marlena win as i’d love to see how the more lowkey sounding songs will do on the big stage.

I repeat but I can visualize this song performed on the Eurovision stage and becoming iconic among the eurofans. I’d love to see this kind of Nochentera redemption with this song as it is in the same genre and Zorra has this little plus, a great message. And this is this message that makes this “little song” BIG in fact and it’s clever. A potential esc winner, we can’t know yet; a potential iconic esc entry, for sure! Spain has good options this year, they can go urban, they can go 80’s, they can go modern flamenco, they can go… Read more »

I think Marlena might have this. They have one of the highest stream numbers, higher than some of the favourites and I reckon they can perform well live. They might be going to Eurovision.
