Warsaw calling! Eleven acts competed in Poland’s Eurovision 2025 selection Polskie kwalifikacje to gain a ticket to represent the country in Basel. In the end, the Poles decided that Justyna Steczkowska will represent Poland at Eurovision 2025 with “Gaja”.

Valentine’s Day or not: eleven acts tried to win over a public voting. It was Poland’s first national final in two years — following last year’s internal selection. In 2023, Poland’s selection led to controversy.

Perhaps in a result to that, TVP announced that the Polskie kwalifikacje result would solely be determined by SMS voting. Poles could vote up to 20 times per song.

You could watch Polskie kwalifikacje live from 20:45 CET on TVP2 or on the official Eurovision YouTube channel. The show was scheduled to run until 22:45 CET.

Polskie kwalifikacje running order

  1. Chrust – “Tempo”
  2. Kuba Szmajkowski – “Pray”
  3. Justyna Steczkowska – “Gaja”
  4. Tynsky – “Miracle”
  5. Daria Marx – “Let It Burn”
  6. Sw@da i Niczos – “Lusterka”
  7. Janusz Radek – “In Cosmic Mist”
  8. Marien – “Can’t Hide”
  9. Teo Tomczuk – “Immortal”
  10. Sonia Maselik – “Rumours”
  11. Dominik Dudek – “Hold the Light”

Polskie kwalifikacje 2025 results

  1. Justyna Steczkowska – “Gaja” – 39.32%
  2. Sw@da i Niczos – “Lusterka” – 23.69%
  3. Dominik Dudek – “Hold the Light” – 13.94%
  4. Chrust – “Tempo” – 5.92%
  5. Kuba Szmajkowski – “Pray” – 3.98%

That Baby Lasagna was just cringe and awful, one act horse that copies others.

He is complete trash.

I personally think that men in high heels is just cliché, already seen so many times (Spain 2024 anyone?) and should stay in the past. But I like everything else. The song is catchy, the voice is great, even the chaos on the stage somehow looks good. Good luck to Poland. Just change high heels for male dancers.

After the Jann/Blanka debacle, I refuse to get involved in the Polish NF but this sounds pretty good.

She sure threw everything in for three minutes. At times it becomes to much everything at once and not everything sticks. I hope Justyna has someone in her team that can say no…
But the song is not to bad. Could grow on me

That woman is 52 years old throwing herself around that stage and getting lifted into the air, absolute queen! I didn’t listen to the other songs in the selection but I’m very happy with this choice for Poland, it should see them back in the final

There isn’t much of a song here. She mainly wants to showcase her vocal abilities. Some of the performance felt more like a circus, and it would be best to cut or rearrange those parts. I know she brings energy, but the song itself isn’t that interestint… it doesn’t make you think, ‘I will surely vote for this.’

It’s the Divas flying year definetely! Melody, Erika and now Justyna.
I noted that the trend too this year in the National Finals is to fly, Spain, Slovenia, Finland, Poland, I could even include Belgium as he begins his perf. in the air.

Yeah but we could barely heard them as they were 95% covered by the pre recorded vocals… and people here close their eyes on that. I know Justyna is a great singer, I’m not much worried for her, but I’m pretty sure she can’t sing like that while shaking her head.

and that is why i believe there should not be any recorded backing vocals allowed unless a singer is ill

This song is a mix of everything and kitchen sink…some parts work, other ones no. But all of it needs to be polished 🙂 for Eurovision stage. Even then, it will be hard for something eclectic like this to advance to the final from all televote semi. Most of the people need a hook or recognizable melody to pick up the phone and vote in bigger numbers.

She had the absolute best song and performance back with Sama in 1995 (Yes, I’d rather have seen that she had won, than my own native Norway). This is also brilliant. For me it is Poland and Greece in the top now.

This is the kinda stuff I want at eurovision. Fun but powerful and a bit crazy without feeling fake. Could it be more streamlined? Yes. Do I want it to be? Just a little. I quite enjoy the chaos of this song, the only song so far that gives me anything. Just clean up some of the shots and let the chaos commence! Also funny is that I feel there is more of a certain “appeal” here than Ich komme from Finland that is all about that subject (and this isn’t even Justynas focus it feels like!). Ironic. Anyways, straight… Read more »

The song for sure is powerful and has a lot of potential. It’s the number that confuses me. It feels a little 2000s and too much of everything on stage. Guys on hills, black leather, flying, screaming, writings on the wall.
They need to hire a good production team and it may be a blast!
Good luck Poland!

I would like to congratulate Poland on a great national final – a manageable number of songs, minimal waffle from the hosts, televote only (so the country can say it’s the song they picked, no one else) and all done and dusted in two hours. Major applause. Well done ?

2000s Eurovision chaos, in all the good ways. I like this. Of course I’m mainly seeing things more so than listening to things but the beat I’m listening to I don’t mind. Anyone still trying to convince themselves Eurovision is an actual song contest needs to get a grip.

I must admit, the performance had me going ‘wtf’ every 20 seconds, in the best way. She was captivating to watch and listen to, and the fact I couldn’t predict what her vocals were going to do from one moment to the next, what dance moves or staging changes were about to occur and how the melody would change, kept me on my toes and constantly mesmerised. In other words, she stands out hugely and was very entertaining to watch. She never kept it boring, which is crucial at Eurovision. Poland are back with a bang.

Justyna was objectively the only one who had the full, Eurovision-ready package. However, for me “Gaja” is just a lot of yelling in the Slavic woods that sounds a bit dated. I’m sad Sw@da i Niczos’ Lusterka didn’t make it – it would have been a much more competitive and original entry on the big Eurovision stage. Nevertheless, it was a very nice show, so well done Poland!
