Eric Saade came a very respectable fifth in the Melodifestivalen 2015 final. Despite being one of the favourites to win, he was positive and upbeat when wiwibloggs caught up with him a few minutes afterwards. He applauded the crowd for their love and energy, and said that he wasn’t surprised when Mans won. In fact, he even went up to Mans in the green room before the results to give him a bit of pop star support: “I told him, ‘Congratulations. You got this man.'”

After the show Eric joined the other contestants at the SVT Melfest Afterparty to toast Mans and to perform an encore of his song “Sting.” As energetic as ever, Eric proved once again that you can’t slow him down. He’s working on his next album, so watch this space!

@Melissa J If his next album is going to be anything like Sting, he shouldn’t release it. I love him, but this song is a huge disappointment. Can’t believe he finished 5th.

Good for you, Eric! If your next album is going to be anything like “Sting”, I’m sure it will be great! Really looking forward to what you come out with next. 😀 What a nice guy!
