Back your glitter and heels, because it’s almost time for the London Eurovision Party – and today we are delighted to announce your London Eurovision Party 2024 Hosts. Eurovision 2017 alumni Lucie Jones, and LEP legend Paddy O’Connell will be your main hosts for the show, with BBC icons Rylan and Scott Mills joining proceedings as Special Guest Hosts.

The group will provide many laughs and bursts of excitement throughout the show, introducing all our performers. West End star Lucie Jones, who represented the UK at Eurovision in Kyiv, will also be providing a performance. We are so excited to see what they bring to the show at Here At Outernet on April 7th.

Who are our London Eurovision Party 2024 Hosts?

Lucie Jones

Lucie Jones represented the United Kingdom at Eurovision 2017 with her Emmelie De Forrest-penned “I Will Never Give Up On You“. She got the UK’s best result in 6 years and had many fans falling in love with her performance. Lucie stayed in touch with her Eurovision fanbase, by returning to the London Eurovision Party. Lucie also hosted the UK’s 2018 national final You Decide alongside Måns Zelmerlöw.

She has gone on to become a star of London’s West End musical theatre scene. Recently she has starred in the main roles of Waitress, as Jenna, and one of the msot famous roles in the industry: Elphaba in Wicked. Her interpretations of these roles has always been lauded by critics, and she is a must-have in London now.

Paddy O’Connell

This will be Paddy’s fifteenth time hosting the London Eurovision Party – he has hosted every single edition and we’re thrilled he is back again! The funnyman is back and ready to welcome our artists with joy and the humour he is best known for. He is a top BBC correspondant, having worked for BBC News, BBC Two’s ‘Working Lunch’ show, and currently hosts BBC Radio 4’s ‘Broadcasting House’ programme every Sunday morning. We can’t wait to welcome Paddy back once again, and to hear his wittiest remarks through the evening.

Rylan

The one, the only, Rylan will be joining the party! He is an extremely well-known presenter in the UK and is now reaching international audiences. In Eurovision circles, he’s especially loved for his friendliness when speaking with artists, and giving viewers the feeling of watching a friend. He recently helped host The Big Eurovision Party/Het Grote Songfestivalfeest in Amsterdam, and has been a one of two semi final commentators for the BBC coverage of Eurovision since 2018. More on the other half of that duo shortly!

Rylan initially started his career on X Factor and Celebrity Big Brother, before becoming a mainstay on British television, hosting many shows and being beloved by the nation. He also hosts his Saturday late afternoon show on BBC Radio 2- the most listened station in the UK. His show unashamedly plays banger after banger, with many fun games and jokes weaved throughout. He is an absolute delight, and we’re pumped he will be joining us at Here At Outernet.

Scott Mills

Scott is one of the nation’s most beloved radio personalities in the United Kingdom. He was part of BBC Radio 1 for 24 years, before joining sister station BBC Radio 2 in 2022. He has an incredibly amusing sense of humour, never being afraid to be joyously silly to give the nation serotonin.

Many of his catchphrases and ‘best bits’ are part of British culture now, including Innuendo Bingo, his ‘interesting’ Strictly Come Dancing stint and his superhuman effort raising over £500,000 for Comic Relief on his 24-hour radio show, the LOL-athon.

Most importantly perhaps, Scott has been commentating on the Eurovision semi-finals since 2011, with Rylan joining him 6 years later.

London Eurovision Party 2024

The London Eurovision Party is the biggest annual Eurovision event in the United Kingdom. It is also one of the biggest and most classic shows on the Eurovision pre-party tour. It’s been going from strength to strength over the years, and this year it celebrates it’s 15th edition in style at Here at Outernet in the UK capital.

Here at Outernet is a large concert venue right in the beating heart of London, known for it’s artistic styling and modern spaces. The London Eurovision Party will provide an excellent chance for a British audience to see their favourite acts before the contest itself. You can expect to see many more announcements coming very soon of 2024 acts, and past Eurovision favourites.

The song was abysmal. She sang it with a fake lisp and waved her ample bingo wings around.

I will be in London on April 7th, but have no ticket. Sad face.

Nobody cares. We want information regarding Armenia and Azerbaijan. The EBU should discipline them for always releasing their songs past date.

No. They can hold them for as long as they like. There’s no rule that says they have to share them with the public month before the contest. The deadline refers to submission to the EBU only.

Jonas is right but I see your point. It’s boring that the three countries in the Caucasus leave their reveals so late. It isn’t doing them any good, either.
