She has amassed almost a billion (yes, with a B) streams on her Eurovision 2022 entry “Snap”, and now Armenian singer/songwriter Rosa Linn will be coming to the London Eurovision Party! The sweet tune about moving on from a partner went internationally viral, and she is ready to see her original fans all over again.
We can’t wait to see Rosa Linn return to the Eurovision bubble for LEP, for a rousing rendition of her chart smash. We’re almost ready to head to Here at Outernet on April 7th, let’s do this!
Who is Rosa Linn?
Rosa Linn (real name Roza Kostandyan) hails from Vanadzor in Armenia, and has been writing music since she was 11 years old. She learned piano from the age of six, and then participated in the Armenian national selection for the Junior contest in 2013. Later on, she was selected by the Armenian broadcaster in 2022 to represent the nation with “Snap”. She brought a huge room prop and stunning vocals to the contest and placed 20th in the final.
However, the most interesting part of Rosa Linn’s story follows the time after Eurovision itself. “Snap” blew up on TikTok, and suddenly the whole world was singing “Snap in one, two…”. The hype train never died down, and at the time of writing, “Snap” has over 950,000,000 streams. The billion is inevitable, and may have even happened by the time we reach London Eurovision Party!
She has since performed on late night TV in the USA, gone on tour with Ed Sheeran and signed with Colombia Records. All huge feats, not bad for someone on the right-hand side of the scoreboard. Truly a lesson that all songs in the contest are important, and the results aren’t always the best judge of the best entries. Currently, “Snap” is the second most streamed Eurovision song of all time, and is beloved as if it were only released yesterday. We are thrilled she is coming back to see us, and we can’t wait to sing along once more.
London Eurovision Party 2024
The London Eurovision Party is the biggest annual Eurovision event in the United Kingdom.
The party will see a majority of artists from the year of 2024, but joining them will be some Eurovision alumni too. This year the party celebrates its 15th edition at Here at Outernet in the UK capital.
Here at Outernet is a large concert venue right in the beating heart of London. It is known for its artistic styling and modern spaces. The London Eurovision Party will provide an excellent chance for a British audience to see their favourite acts before the contest itself.

If the song is good, be it “mid”, “simple”, “not special” or something, it is good. But looks like salty people who have their faves and hate on this song will never understand that. And it is even upsetting to still see people trying to downgrade this song instead of cheering that, though placed 20th, in the end it succeeded and that it could be a huge inspiration for the upcoming acts. But no, let’s just hate it on.

If it wasn’t for a few teenagers from TikTok, nobody would even mention Snap. It’s not a good song, it’s just TikTok friendly. Armenia has sent better songs.
If my aunt was a man she would be my uncle . But guess what ? She is a woman . The same way Snap is Eurovision megahit.
So cool to have her back to the Eurovision bubble. I hope she performs another song as well. Snap is the second biggest Eurovision hit.

This is not even in the top 100 of Eurovision hits. She got those streams and views because the snippet was TikTok friendly, good for challenges, that’s basically it.
Good for her, nothing against it, but the song is mid, like it finished in the contest.

It is not a bad song, but definitely not an amazing one. It was just lucky enough to get a traction on tiktok and basicaly that is the only reason for its views (songs with more views on spotify attracts more people to click on it and check it out). Overall, it’s not a powerful song, nor original, nor revolutionary. It just got luck and that is a fact.
Tiktok adds this weird phenomenon to the music industry that songs become hits two, three or even twenty years after they’ve been released. I think that’s kind of cool. The same happened to Arcade. It wasn’t a massive international hit after it won Eurovision. It only became massive through Tiktok.

If Snap came from Sweden it would probably place top 3. But good for small Armenia proving they can create the second most streamed eurovision song of all time. Snap has more streams than Euphoria and Tattoo combined – let that sink in.
I just think that it isn’t one of those songs that hit you on a first WATCH. People never seem take into account that it’s far different to watch a live performance between more than other 20 entries while eating chips and popcorn than to listen to that song on the radio in everyday life.
Not fair to compare. Euphoria was released in 2012 when there was no Spotify. Euphoria is far more recognizable than SNAP though
I always heard this is a mega hit because it has more streams than many other ESC songs. On contest it was mediocre, and I never found a person who is not a fan of Eurovision that likes this song or even heard about it. So, it’s hardly a hit.
It doesn’t have more streams than Arcade.

Snap’s mediocre placement is another example of Eurofans not knowing what they are voting for during the final.
It’s a stage show contest not a radio show or tiktok sound contest.
It’s not just eurofans, 100M+ viewers watch the grand final so it’s mostly the general public.
The song is very radio friendly and we have been saying it a lot back then but it just did not shine on stage and the running order did not help either.
