Heading to Malmö for Eurovision and staying outside the city or in Copenhagen? Now you don’t have to worry about getting around by public transport, because local transport company Skånetrafiken has just launched their campaign for Eurovision.
Two new weekly passes will be available to buy during Eurovision week from 5 to 12 May:
- Eurovision Skåne: Unlimited travel for 8 days within Malmö and Skåne area for 350 SEK (€30/£26)
- Eurovision Skåne/Copenhagen: Unlimited travel for 8 days to and from Copenhagen (including CPH Airport) with the Öresundstrain and within Malmö and Skåne area for 700 SEK (€60/£52)
It’s worth noting that the standard single ticket in the Malmö area costs 42 SEK, and a single ticket to and from Copenhagen is 150 SEK. So there is quite a good deal in buying one of these weekly passes.

The weekly passes are available to buy from 15 April through Skånetrafiken’s app. You can download it from Google Play and App store.

- Malmö Arena: Located right next to Hyllie Station, which is 10 minutes from Malmö Central station, 15 minutes from Copenhagen Airport and 28 minutes from Copenhagen Central Station
- Eurovision Street: On Friisgatan which is on the way from Triangeln Station to Eurovision Village
- Eurovision Village: Located in Folkets Park, a 10 minute walk from Triangeln Station
- Euro Fan Café: Located in Moriska Paviljongen inside Folkets Park
- Euroclub: Located in Malmö Live close to Malmö C
- Eurofansclub: Located on Stortorget right behind City Hall, around an 8 minute walk from Malmö C

I am trying to buy it but when I click on special tickets for “Eurovision Copenhagen/Skane” it gives so many options and NONE are showing 700SEK, only Flex 10/30 + Metro for 10 24 hour tickets at 2050SEK!!. Is anyone esle getting this too?
Is this travel pass also including unlimited traveling in Copenhagen? Or just from copenhagen to Malmö and in Malmö area?

Any news on extra services after the show? We plan to stay elsewhere in Skåne and would of course prefer to take public transportation, but the last train seems to be too early.

I wish they had options for 1, 2 or 3 days. 8 days is probably not the average stay. Most will probably stay only for the weekend.
There are 24 hour tickets as well, so you can buy a couple of those for 2 days. But since they are 300 SEK you would want to buy the 8 day option for 700 SEK anyway if you stayed longer than 2 days 🙂
They are also deeply discounted to recognise that 😉

Scandinavian countries are so expansive for people coming from other areas of Europe 😮
A one week ticket in Hamburg and metropolitan area is 29 Euro and twice as big as Copenhagen and Malmo together
I am also wondering why they don’t have offers for 1, 2 or 3 days as I doubt that most people will stay there for a whole week.
As nice it can be to have been there, neither Copenhagen nor Malmo are worth to stay in more than 1-3 days
