Albanian Entry Translates Song Into English–and It Works!

It’s already been an eventful year for Juliana Pasha, Albania’s representative for Eurovision 2010. Following her victory in December, bloggers suggested that her song Nuk Mundem Pa Ty sounded a little too much like Britney Spear’s Womanizer. But Juliana has pressed on in the face of the (rather absurd) criticism. She recently presented the English-language version of her entry. Unlike a lot of performers who lose soul during the translation process, she avoids “Eurovision English” and delivers an English-language song that really works. You can compare the Albanian and English versions below!
