The Wiwi Jury—our in-house panel of music un-professionals—has now reviewed all 39 of this year’s Eurovision contestants. Each juror awarded each song a score from 1 to 10, and the scores were then averaged to determine the Wiwi Jury Verdict. Our jury is truly international and includes people from Britain, Bulgaria, Finland, Hong Kong, Panama, Romania, Sweden and the United States. This was a painful process. Tears were shed and expletives were exchanged—and that was just when we were dealing with Bonnie Tyler.

Below you can see our assessment of tonight’s semi-final competitors. Holland’s Anouk came tops with an average score of 8.36. One juror described her song “Birds” as “art in its purest form”. Belgium’s Roberto Bellarosa finished last with an average score of just 3.5. One juror described his song “Love Kills” as “bargain bin material”, while another said “‘Love Kills’ and this makes me want to die.” Ouch.

You can see the complete rankings of all 39 acts by clicking here. As for now, feast your eyes on our semi-final rankings.

I agree with the first four, even though I’d probably switch Ireland’s and Ukraine’s positions.
The rest I have no real opinion of.
