Wiwi: Armenia’s Aram Mp3 confirmed why he’s the bookies favourite this morning during his first rehearsal in Copenhagen. His vocals were on point, and his staging looks amazing.
The number starts off quite dark and brooding. The camera pans in and out on Aram from different angles, and the LED floor transforms into a starry universe. Aram stands in the middle of circular lights on the floor, and is surrounded by rays of light Sanna Nielsen style. His choreography is simple but effective. In some of the takes today he shook his arms and looked like he was swimming in air.
When the song grows more angry, so does the color scheme. It changes from blue to red, and the starry sky becomes a sea of lightning and flashing lights. It turns to fire at the end, and Aram appears to be standing on a giant sun. He closes his eyes and the stage goes black.
It’s moving and measured and builds nicely. Aram’s choreography is simple. . Looks like Aram is living up to the hype.

Armenia will be top 5 but like many a fancied early favourite he will fall at last hurdle, like amuary, Charlotte, Kati etc, I like the song, but early favourite status has turned a lot of people off it, I also think for many people watching it for the first time they just won’t get it, and remember the majority of people will only hear it for first time, good luck anyway Armenia, though if ye did win would be interesting to see if Azerbaijan were as pig headed and boycotted the completion in Armenia 😉 I have a feeling… Read more »
It was my absolute winner first time i heard it. Still is and i’m sticking with it. I’m a bit dissapointed that for some people Aram’s song seems to be getting old and they’re now turning to other favourites instead, but that’s the risk when you face almost 3 months of a pre-esc marathon. It’s hard to stay on top. When i compare this to the other front runner (Sweden is ok, but nothing special and i heard “this” song before a million times), i mean… Well done, Armenia! I’ll be rooting and voting for you, hands down!

Can you please, for heavens’ sake, stop comparing this years singers with the previous years’ singers? It’s extremely irrelevant and annoying. We do not care about previous years’ “losers.” We get it, and it’s obvious, you hate Aram.
But I can’t help but feel that you really do not hate the song or Aram. In reality you love the song. You just hate yourself for loving it. Otherwise, you wouldn’t be so determined to write negative comments all over the wiwibloggs about Aram and his song.
I think that Armenia is NOT going to win Eurovision 2014. It is now down to the UK, Sweden, Hungary and Ireland to win this year. Honestly!
Well, the huge stage sure made him look so tiny and alone, as expected. Of course there’s not much to see in this 30 seconds preview, I’ll wait to see the real thing with the different camera angles and full quality to make my veredict, but that’s my first impression.
Dumb people over here.. Everyone knows that Aram will not win (there are reasons), not because his song isn’t good enough, in fact, it’s the best song this year with Sweden. UK is a great song, but not a winner.

This entry is gonna take it all. I love Sweden, but it’s just an ordinary Swedish pop song. Have heard it a million times before. And honestly, to all those who are discriminating this act because it’s from the east, Eurovision is supposed to unite people and cultures not the opposite.

Borring, sorry remmember France 2011 with Amaury “sognu”, Israel 2010 with Harel Skaat “Milim” Norway 2010 with Didrik Solli-Tangen “My Heart is Yours” These were also favourites to win but they bored audience with their boring songs and contradict OGAE’s, polls predictions and bookies, Aram is going to be another one just wait and see how boring it will be, I am sorry but its true, otherwise good luck Armenia
