Yesterday we brought y’all an update on who you think will win the first semi-final. Today, we give you an insight into our readers favourites to win the second semi-final.
Since we launched this year’s second semi-final poll on 20 March, more than 18,227 readers have voted for their favourites. Greece has literally rised up in our poll (as they also did on stage today) since our last update on 4 April . They were 3rd in our last update and now hold the top spot. Can they maintain this and will they actually finish first on the 8th of May?
Romania better pay attention, as their Paula and Ovi have dropped two places and are now battling to stay in the top 3. They now hold 2,097 votes (11.5%). Slovenia has dropped a place and fallen out of the top 3, but they are still holding tight! Perhaps Romania’s ‘miraculous’ first rehearsal will help to get them back to the top?
Irelands’ Can-linn feat Kasey Smith continue their astonishing rise. They were fourth in our last update and have now grabbed second place with 4,440 votes (24.36%)! Will Can-linn and Kasey Smith, who ‘went for gold‘ at the rehearsals, be able to outclass Greece?
Teo remains in last place with 178 votes. Georgia has moved up a spot (277 votes) at the expense of Lithuania (232 votes).
You still have several days to vote in our poll, so share the link and support your favourites! You can also read our reviews of all 37 songs on the Wiwi Jury page.

Definitley i will vote for Malta <3
@Deven: Rihanna? That video don’t give any indication at all that Kasey is trying to be ANYTHING like Rihanna! What were those commentators smokin’?
My 3rd and final evaluation of the 2nd round is now complete. Here is how my scorecard ranks them: 1. Norway 2. Romania 3. Macedonia 4. Malta 5. Slovenia 6. Poland 7. Israel (+2) 8. Finland (-1) 9. Austria (-1) 10. Ireland [Ireland in, Switzerland out] And the rest: 11. Switzerland 12. Belarus 13. Greece 14. Lithuania 15. Georgia An excellent video that tells a story relevant to the song can turn a good entry into a great one (case in point, Malta). Likewise, a mediocre video that tells no story can turn a very good entry into a borderliner… Read more »
I am just on Youtube looking at Can-Linn’s video and the comments. Someone said that she is a Rihanna wannbe. Kasey looks alot more like Cheryl Cole to me. Loreen, Mariya Yaremchuk and Tanja are Rihanna wannabes. But anyway Ireland, Greece, Israel and Romania should definitely get past the semi finals.
Romania is about nothing!!!! Stupid song
Emmanuel, your british your hardly going to say nice about something irish are you?
This pool is not even accurate 😛 It’s quite obvious that most people voted for their own country My Top 10 is:
1. Austria
2. Greece
3. Israel
4. Ireland
5.Switzerland
7.Finland
8. Romania
9.Poland
10. Norway
Think Slovenia will end last
rise up….rise up…….rise up….rise up…..rise up…..vote for GREECE…….. romania,israel,ireland,slovenia…..
Before rehearsal i predict that in semi final in TOP 3 will be Greece, Romania , Hungary , and Norway and Ireland in TOP 5
But after rehearsal I m very dissapoint in Greece,Ireland and Hungary . Israel and Austria is suprise of first rehearsal.
After first rehearsal I think TOP 10 will be
1.Romania
2.Norway
3.Israel
4.Greece
5.Austria
6.Malta
7.Switzerland
8.Finland
9.Ireland
10.Slovenia
11.Poland
Halfway through my 3rd evaluation of the 2nd round, I think this one is between Norway and Romania.
@Dora exactly xD
It turned into a luxury show.People do not care about songs they care about how big stage will be .
Good luck to brother Greece !;)
I dont believe in this pool. People is joking about the ESC
I think Sweden will win anyway..
Go Greece!!!! RISE UP PEOPLE!!!!
@Aaron don’t worry we are greeks and as always we pass all the difficulties…if we win we will find the solution you don’t have to be mean…you must understand that this is a song competiion it’s not politics…GOOD LUCK GREECE ?
VOTE NUMBER 9 IN THE 2ND SEMI FINAL ON THE 8TH MAY!!
VOTE IRELAND;)
@Srebrenko you beat me for just a few minutes 😛
Interesting to see Teo dead last in this poll, but 7th in the main one, ahead of Israel and Hungary, these are the discrepancies that make me doubt of the legitimacy of some of these results.
Buuuut, I guess that with Greece, Ireland and Romania placing high in almost every poll I’ve seen I think is safe to say they will indeed do well.
From the ones that I’m not so sure will qualify: go Switzerland, Poland and Finland! Also, I know is a long shot but… go Georgia! 😀
You can’t take these polls for serious… Just look what you have here: in the poll “Who will win Eurovision 2014?” Teo from Belarus is in 7th place, but in this poll “Who will win the second semi-final?” he is in last place, so according to this he won’t even be in the final…
POLAND!!!! CLEO!!! DONATAAAN!!
Oh Emmanuel wait and see Ireland will do well. We won’t win but well do well.
You Greeks do know that if you win you will probably go bankrupt, again.
I predict to qualify Greece, Romania, Ireland, Malta, my country, Slovenia, Switzerland (i really want Sebalter in the final!), Israel, Norway and Austria.
I AGREE.RISE UP BY FAR.YOU CAN’T HAVE A CLEAR PICTURE FROM SO FAR AWAY AND WITHOUT THE APPROPRIATE LIGHTS.SOME FRIENDS FROM INSIDE THEY TOLD ME THAT THROUGH STREAMING IT WAS AMAZING!
RISE UP!!!!!LOVE
There is no doubt!Everyone knows thas Greece’s gonna win semi 2 especially after their excellent 1st rehearsal!!
I really aren’t expecting much from Ireland and I don’t understand the hype around it at the moment, but I am very glad at how well greece are doing and they fully deserve it. Come on and Rise Up, Rise up, Rise up <3
Greece!!!!!! 1st! Best!! <3
