Last winter, we brought you a collection of fan videos showing what some of our favorite female Eurovision stars would sound like if they took some testosterone. Seeing that you guys went crazy over ladies in the lower register, we decided to do a little audio mixing of our own. We’re now ready to share some more Eurovision stars working the higher and lower registers. Say goodbye to Sanna and Tinkara, and hello to Sanno and Tinkaro!
Molly – Children of the Universe
Does Molly sound better as a bass? Would BBC have done better than seventeenth with her brother, perhaps?
Ruth Lorenzo – Dancing in the Rain
If someone arranges the song in a lower key, we would love to hear Axel Hirsoux cover it (seeing that his Conchita cover went well). But for now, this will suffice.
Sergej Cetkovic – Moj Svijet
Nope, sorry, Bonnie Tyler did not learn the words to this Balkan ballad. That’s just Sergina.
Sanna Nielsen – Undo
Sanna’s powerhouse mezzo-soprano didn’t stop us from lowering her voice even more. We took the most serious performance of this year and made it unbearably goofy. Enjoy!
Pastora Soler – Vive
We didn’t want to limit ourselves to just Eurovision songs from this year! Pastora’s new summer single seemed like the perfect song to twist and turn.
Tanja – Forevermore
She released a new video earlier this month, and we couldn’t resist!
Tanja – Amazing
Tanja was the only true contralto in Copenhagen this year, so we figured we’d give her a double dose of gender bending. After deepening her vocals on “Forevermore“, we decided to give her extra helium for “Amazing“. Have a listen!
Gianluca – Picture
Since we gave one male star an alto voice, we decided to get silly with this one and make the adorable Gianluca into an even more adorable chipmunk.
Cezar – It’s My Life
Yes, he has a high voice already. But we love to push the limits.
Tinkara Kovac – Round and Round
Tinkara actually sounds very nice as a tenor. And with those backing vocals, it sounds just like a boy band. A good boy band, to boot.

Love Sanna
Tinkara sounds like Toni Braxton in this version!!! I really like the feel here.
Molly sounds like a great 80s anthem now! I like!
Did you lower Molly voice by four semi-tones?
For me, Molly sounded good as bass.
I loved Tinkara, Molly, Tanja and Sanna.
(but Tinkara was the most realistic, for me)
The female vocals sounded like Ukraine’s NeAngely
Tinkara sounds like a normal person!
(a boy obviously- just usually when people do these things they end up sounding alien)
So does Tanja
Tinkara was really good agreed. Molly’s sounded fairly realistic too.
Tinkara actually sounds really good.
Bad idea!!!!
