Waylon’s first album after the Common Linnets breakup has proven to be a big success. The album topped the charts in the Netherlands and we wiwibloggers loved his first single, “Love drunk.” So you can imagine the excitement when he recently launched his newest single, “Love me.” It’s a command, but one we are happy to obey…

There may not be an official video out yet, but no bother: just close your eyes and listen. Even if you’re a bigger fan of his previous single “Love drunk”—count me among them—you have to admit that Waylon knows how to give us quality and emotion. He’s not just a pop star, but an artist.

Interesting fact: This song is co-written by Ilse deLange and JB Meijers, the writer of their Eurovision song ‘Calm after the storm‘.
