As Eurovision season unfolds, our contestants are learning that they cannot get comfortable. During our first installment of “Who is your favourite Eurovision 2015 act so far?”, Malta’s Amber triumphed over Macedonia’s Daniel Kajmakoski. But then The Netherlands’ Trijntje Oosterhuis entered the voting and promptly topped the rankings. As we add new entries from Albania and Belarus, will the Dutch song “Walk Along” remain your favourite?
Today we welcome Uzari and Maimuna, who caused a stir by upsetting the red hot favourites MILKI in Belarus with their song “Time”. Things were more predictable in Albania, where the jury went with the obvious option of Elhaida Dani (a former winner of The Voice of Italy) and her song “Diell”. It’s fair to say that both songs are likely to undergo heavy transformations before they actually make it on to the stage in Vienna.
Still, we’re all about living in the present, so we want you to tell us who y’all are loving in the here and now. Click on the song title to listen to the track, and click on the artist’s name to learn more about the artist. Then vote in our poll. You can vote for as many acts as you’d like, but you can only vote ONE time. So make it count!

@ bavarson
i think you should be educated on the first place as you cannot tell people who to vote or not. if you don’t like the song then don’t vote for it but pls do a favor to your self and zip up your mouth what a rude person you are. go and take some education lessons
Malta actually has the best song…They just need a better singer. Imagine someone with the raw power of a Sia or a Demi L vs the rather meek and mild Diamanté-toothed Amber and I believe my point is made
Malta has the best song
It would be so wrong if Malta wins with Warrior. Previous entries from Kurt & Thea were much better. Warrior is just an generic ESC song.
We’ve had female empowerment songs in ESC & the national selections so many times before. Recent ones were Survivor & Fighter. There is even another Warrior trying in Georgia.
So Malta’s Warrior is one giant cliche, both lyrically & musically. It should be thrown out in the Semi Finals.
Amber !!! Wait til you hear Amber performing live !! Strong voice singing a strong song with a powerful message <3 xxxx #warrior <3 <3 xxxx
Just wait till you see her live performance ! she is even more incredible , good luck Malta Thumbs Up Amber xxxx This years winner
Malta the best song 🙂 will it be the first time malta wins the eurovision song contest ? .. hope for the best and goodluck amber 🙂
Malta The Best!!!
Maltese people are very proud of Amber and let’s be real she is good!!
Albania with Elhaida Dani it is a really beautiful ballad with a great voice.I love it!
Macedonia is so underrated the song is catchy and has a meaning to it Macedonia ftw
I really like the Belarus entry as it is now. Awesome violin, sweet techno beats, and it’s a very catchy dance song. However, I also said something similar with Rhythm of Love in 2013 and we all know what happened there. I really hate when a country drastically changes their entry between the National Final and Eurovision. The biggest crime this year was the remixing of One Night’s Anger. The original hard rock version could have been a very strong entry. The final product was much weaker. Ah well, who knows why producers do the things they do. I guess… Read more »

I can’t see what anyone sees in “Warrior” – I find it one of the most unoriginal songs in the contest ever. I can only put it above Belarus because, well, it’s obvious.
1. Netherlands
2. Albania
3. Macedonia
4. Malta
5. Belarus
really, bavarson? you are acting like a 3 year old. grow up.
1. Albania
2. The Netherlands
3. Malta
4. Belarus
5. Macedonia
Some people just don’t know what does the word “subjective” mean. So you don’t like when chorus is ultrastatic, huh? Well, it happens that I actually do like it. Deal with that?
@bavarson it’s starting to get annoying. We all have different opinions, get used to it. Stop insulting people because they don’t agree with you (the majority).
On another note, I have warmed to Albania’s. I think her voice is very similar to Leona Lewis. The song still needs to change a bit though. Belarus is a travesty, great concept and voice but it’s just a repetitive mess. I never though I’d say that I miss ‘Cheesecake’. Macedonia’s song is growing on me but still doesn’t compare to Malta and The Netherlands. #TeamAmber #TeamTraincha
1. The Netherlands
2. Macedonia (so underrated, btw)
3. Malta
4. Belarus
5. Albania
People need to stop judging and criticising countries over ONE song.
As for my opinion, I adore Albania’s entry. She has a fantastic voice and will get good marks from the juries. With a nice revamp, she has the possibility to turn a great song into an even greater one, get televotes and catapult herself into the Top 10 (which is possible).
Daniel Kajmakoski has much better choruses than Amber, more dynamic. Amber has coarse choruses with too bright background. In addition, the performance is ultrastatic. This is similar to Sweden from Junior Eurovision 2013, while Macedonian entry is more similar to Malta and Ukraine, which occupied first and second place. So please do not vote this year for Malta, because it is bad and it has no chance for good result. The same applies to the Netherlands, which was very good during the last two years, but their new entry is tragic.
Before you vote, you should be educated. You should see all performances several times before you decide who should receive a vote.
Just like Bavarson, I’ve noticed a similar hate comments from the majority of Macedonians towards Malta/Amber.
There is no need to bash the country/singer just for the reason of disliking the song. (Deep down, I doubt you really do anyways)
Keep hating!
My top 5:
1. Netherlands
2. Macedonia
3. Malta
4. Belarus
5. Albania
#TeamElhaida 🙂
Malta, The Netherlands, FYR Macedonia and Belarus has a good potential. But i’m so disappointed with Albania who decide to choose a boring ballad rather than powerful and energic performance from Lindita. Seems Albania stuck again on semifinal
My personal ratings based on song AT THE MOMENT, because some songs like Diell haven’t been edited yet, and remembering last year, it could turn our completely different in the end: 1) Walk Along – Trijntje Oosterhuis – The Netherlands (Love the song. You can really hear Anouks style in there. I like Trijntje’s voice, but I don’t think it suits the song very well) 2) Diell – Elhaida Dani – Albania (I LOVE Elhaida Dani’s voice! I have known of her for a long time, so I am a fan. I like the song very much too. People are… Read more »
MALTA is on another level.. this song does something to my heart it makes me believe I am capable of doing anything! #WARRIOR
To sum up: NETHERLANDS – a dumb, boring, repetitive summer country song. I’m not saying they didn’t put an effort, they did but the result is bad anyway. BELARUS – so messy but messy in a good way. It’s like a mixture of pop (the song’s structure),rock (the song’s energy and singer’s tone of voice) and classic (the violin). The song is average, after several listening it can’t grow on you,it can only become boring. MACEDONIA – God I love this song so much. It’s so underrated, just go read the lyrics in english if you don’t understand the words and then listen to it… Read more »
1) Malta (the best, for now)
2) FYR of Macedonia
3) The Netherlands
4) Belarus
5) Albania
Bavarson. But you never detail or reasonably justify your opinion… But whatever its better to ignore you
1. Belarus
2. Netherlands
3. Albania
4. Malta
5. FYR Macedonia
Why would I like Malta as a country? It’s an island located so very far away from my country. And I didn’t like any of maltese entries before Amber. Her song has just stuck in my head, the chorus (even though she “screams” and is sometimes pitchy) makes me feel the emotions. It’s very fresh, and somehow unique. I like her voice tone in general. There, that’s why I put Malta first. And we’re not saying FYR is trash. FYR is also very good, but it’s not our favorite at the moment. But, hey, look at The Netherlands 2014 –… Read more »

It’s a damn song, not maths. If you want to justify the songs, do it! But do not insult us for nothing.
We do not like the songs because we like the country, we like the songs because of their beauty and melody.
If you like a song, then you should detail and reasonably justify it.
You like Malta or Netherlands, because you like these countries. You are not interested in the song.
