In her Eurovision 2015 song Trintje Oosterhuis sings “Walk Along”, but her fans are staying right by her side. After counting 1,109 votes, we are pleased to announce that the Dutch Eurovision singer has won our recurring poll “Who is Your Favourite Eurovision 2015 Act So Far” for the week ending December 26. The Netherlands’ Eurovision singer earned an impressive 55% of all votes. Malta’s act came second with 31% followed by Macedonia’s with 14%.
Malta’s Amber narrowly defeated Macedonia’s Daniel in our previous poll. But the introduction of Trijntje really shook things up…
RESULT SO FAR: TRINJTJE VS. AMBER VS. DANIEL, EUROVISION 2015
1. Trinjtje Oosterhuis – “Walk Along”: 609 votes (55%)
2. Amber – “Warrior”: 340 votes (31%)
3. Daniel Kajmakoski – “Lisja esenski”: 160 votes (14%)
So it looks like some of the original supporters behind Amber and Daniel have shifted allegiance from our earlier polls. But is this just beginner’s luck for Trinjtje — or can she keep riding a wave of momentum and bring the Netherlands a high placing in Vienna? Are you #teamtrijntje, #teamamber or #teamdaniel? Let us know below!
We’ll launch a new poll on December 29 after we have the acts and songs from Belarus (national final is on December 26) and Albania (national final is on December 28).
Nice song Trijntje!! Winner for 2015!!
Anouk wrote the song of TRAINCHA for this year, following COMMON LINNETS. A catchy song and a potential winner for 2015! Let’s hope for a great podium and visuals act like last year. WALK ALONE!
Malta the best
Now that Uzari and Maimuna have won in Belarus, I think they’ve got the best song so far. I’m not so impressed with the other three songs here.

FYR Macedonia is my favourite and if they keep it in Macedonian, it will stay my favourite. His song is awesome.
Daniel’s song is the best one to me. Maybe to you is just a typical balcan eurovision song but I love it. The problem with Amber’s song is a lack of emotion it brings. It’s a very good song but everything seems artificial. And Netherlands? I never like Dutch entries.
I don’t understand why it seems no one likes Macedonia’s entry. In my opinion, it’s the best of the three by far and I can’t find any bad qualities in it. Is it a winner? Probably not, but I still love it.
Just like last year the newest songs usually do well. Remember how Italy topped the vote a couple of times last year as did Israel and look how they placed. Malta is my favourite with the Netherlands being my least favourite due to the annoying early 2000’s sound. Not to be rude to the Dutch but it sounds like a song from your Nationaal Songfestival period. And if The Netherlands are put into the semi-final with 17 songs and the songs are of a good standard then I don’t see The Netherlands qualifying. The same goes for Malta. But I… Read more »
I like FYR Macedonia and Malta (stufdio version, I think the live version is not that great, I hope she improves, because she is awesome) better than my country.
Obviously Traincha is better! She doesn’t have to break her vocal cords to reach the notes (ahem amber), and her song is upbeat and enjoyable (ahem Daniel).
