Grab some comfortable shoes, crank up the volume and get ready to dance! Today MIKA — aka Michael Varosyan — has revealed the official video clip for his Junior Eurovision 2015 song “Love”. It’s going to make you move.
The fast-paced, kid-friendly song has shades of 50s rock and a seriously infectious melody. It builds from the very first note and keeps the action going until the last. Best of all MIKA — who previously wowed us with his “Heroes” cover — has the voice to carry it off. From first listen we can already tell this is a contender.
And not just because of the music. The video is sleek, fun and memorable, much like Betty’s stage performance last year in Malta. Mika has real presence — not a manufactured one — and seems to love every second of this. The Armenians have upped their game yet again and are showing shades of Georgian eccentricity (a formula that rarely fails).
The story, told so brilliantly in the video, revolves around “Cupid Incorporated,” which, according to an AMPTV press release, has one goal: “to spread love and happiness all over the world.” Chief Cupid MIKA and his co-workers work hard “every day to ensure the happiness of people.” After this three minute delight all we can say is MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
There’s more. As MIKA cruises around Yerevan helping folks find love (and carrying a water pistol) he meets his mentor and friend Aram Mp3 — he of Eurovision 2014 fame!
Are you loving this as much as us? Let us know in the comments box below.

Lol! That’s what I thought from the beginning but I’m still fine with apologizing. I’ll play the naive game! I remember him from last year, using a dozen different names. Whatever!!!
To be fair it was blatantly obvious, even with comments deleted that Lolilly was referring to Mario’s original comments. Not everyone is going to know Mario=Legend is a different person, he created that username knowing full well the original Mario likes to add additional words to his name. He is deliberately using a similar user name and then arguing with people when there is confusion caused lol.
Mario=Legend
Sorry. I know I made a mistake. But i couldn’t change it. So sorry! I ment the other Mario!
Excuse me, actually. You have zero idea what you’re talking about. I was responding to comments made by the user ‘Mario’ that have since been deleted. We are *not* the same person. So please, don’t tell me what I do or do not know – As I think you’ll find I was standing up for your ‘culture’ if you take the comments into context. It was that user that was talking about all the things you just brought up. Get your facts straight before you lash out next time. 🙂 Thanks.
@ Mario=Legend I’ve been trying not to write anything about your “pink” comment! Honestly, you have noooo idea about Armenia, or Aram MP3 being “homophobic,” or about the relevance of the color pink and etc! You do not know my culture, traditions, what we really like/love, what we don’t like, what Kind of person Aram MP3 really is and so on. I suggest that you don’t generalize based on your limited knowledge about my culture! Keep your comments relevant to the topic, please. Nobody thought of homophobia while making this video!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a kid friendly, bright, colorful, happy, and… Read more »

Back to JESC, I surprisingly enjoyed the song! I don’t usually like jazzy songs but this is fun, different, catchy, and a perfect setup for good staging and a good performance! The video is a bit chaotic in the changing camera angles but it is a fun, kid-friendly video so it works. Well done Hayastan!
I really can’t believe that we had an unwanted drama just because i posted a harmeless comment referring to the *Pink* colour that was all over the place everywhere in Armenia’s video clip.. I want to post how many comments here replying to everyone about everything but i realy won’t for all the reasons.. I won’t post any other comment under this wiwi article.. @ Eugene : You are only one of the selective users that i truly respect here.. You can disagree with me,you can have different opinion, you can write anything & i really will not mind.. If only… Read more »
Serbia song for Junior Eurovision 2015 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcaFIW1M7Z8
@Ranting Ruby
So you are given a specific colour just because of what genitals you are born with? If you ask me, that is pretty messed up.
Nice effort from Armenia! It comes off a bit repetitive at times but it has a really nice feeling, the kid is really talented and the music is really nice. It is really memorable too. I think Armenia has chances with this one! It will surely go well on televote and the juries might also love it. My current top 10 :
1. Ukraine 9.5/10
2. Slovenia 9.2/10
3. Australia 9.0 /10
4. Armenia 7.4/10
5. The Netherlands 7.0 /10
6. Belarus 6.7 /10
7. Russia 6.4/10
8. FYROM 5.0/10
9. Georgia 4.8 /10
10. Albania 4.0 /10
love this!
i didn’t expect such sleek video from armenia too. good job!
Mario, get a life, get a job, get off wiwibloggs.
Mario, you know NOTHING! Pink is for GIRLS!
Lock it in – Armenia for the win!
Mario if you feel you’re being targeted then stop posting on here. You’ve had numerous earnings about your comments from admins. You’ve received a lot of negativity from other people posting on articles because you try to make everything about being gay or assuming everyone is gay. You constantly go off topics heredity making everything about you and your irrelevant topics. You were going good for a while just commenting on what was actually in the articles but then you went back to your old habits, annoying everyone else in the process. Enough Mario, enough.
No,my other comment that was sadly removed was not really irrelevant.. It made perfect sense when Aram was actually on Michael’s videoclip *Love* inside that beautiful pink car.. Its just that certain admins are prejudized negatively against me & they will not lose the chance to delete everything that i post how many times because they have issues…And too many of these comments that were removed by them were just alright.. Only the fact that the comment of that mean loser named ‘LOL’ that insulted me here {for once again of the too many times that he has done this… Read more »
@Mario-Legend.
I understand that there were other comments. I did not misunderstand your comment. You wrote : ‘what does the colour pink have to do with Mika’s song”. You did not write “what does homophobia have to do with it” or anything else about gay colours etc. Obviously the colour pink itself is relevant.
You have now contradicted yourself lol
No James… I do not mean that comment.. There was *another* comment after that. It started how pink relates to homophobia and things like that which are off topic. Contrary to your belief, clearly, I believe that I do have eyes as I can see the pink in Mika’s video. Shocker. I was referring to Mario’s later text about homophobia, Aram mp3, pink is a gay colour. All that, which is not relevant… Moderators agreed, and deleted the comment. End of story. I will not reply any further, as this, in itself, is off-topic now. You clearly did not see… Read more »
@Mario=Legend. No the comment about the pinkness of this specific video has not been deleted. I am not referring to other comments made. You specifically asked what pink has to do with anything, so i answered you.
Mario – It’s a little something called sarcasm. Anyhow, I wasn’t being rude… I was just asking why the off topic comments? Not an unnecessary comment at all. 🙂 Stop being so defensive! Sure, James, pink is relevant to the video but what was the need to say it was a ‘gay colour’ and to bring up homophobia, and other artists such as Aram MP3 in a pink car. This article is about Mika and his song. I just think it’s a little odd that’s all. Anyhow, the comment Mario posted with all the off-topic pink comments mentioned above has… Read more »

I am pretty sure that either this song or Georgia’s song would have won pre-2012. However, the style of winners has changed dramatically and I’m not sure if this kind of song can still win.
Also, I’m noticing that this year, all of the light, jolly songs (except for Albania) came from internally selected singers. The songs winning competitions are power ballads. Not sure if that means anything for the outcome of JESC.
@Mario=Legend
Given the kids are dressed in pink i fail to see how commenting it on being pink is off topic. I had no idea Yerevan was known as the pink city (due to the colour of its stones) and this video can be seenas nicely patriotic (or maybe jusy a conicedence who knows). Either way it is definately relevant to the topic as it ia observation about the video presented in the topic.
After watching the music video I’m convinced that Armenia spends more money on their JESC entries than on their ESC entries….It’s a definitely a well put together package and a contender for victory. I look forward to watching this on the big stage….Armenia is really gonna turn it up.
@ Excuse me but….are you like kidding me dude???
You have that nickname although i have asked you how many times to change it for the sake, but you condradict yourself with even arguing with me??
You are really weird you know!
They have released what the stage will look like too. 🙂
Mixed feelings, it ain’t good it ain’t bad, butt it is more bad than good, atleast that is what i think. It sounds like Georgia, and i didn’t like Georgia. My top:
1. Australia
2. Slovenia
3. The Netherlands
4. Ukraine
5. Albania
6. Russia
7. F.Y.R. Macedonia
8. Armenia
9. Belarus
10. Georgia
I feel like listening to a potpourri of Jailhouse Rock, Lena Meyer-Landrut and ex-Yugoslav 80’s pop from ‘Rock Me Baby’ to ‘I wanna Dance’. Armenia knows how to put up a colorful, eye catching and elaborate act on a live stage to assure high votes, but this song has little or no added value whatsoever. It’s a good cover song, but has no melodic or thematic originality.
Mario, you are one of those people who say that. You just did. You just contradicted yourself. Can we please stay on topic, what has the colour pink got to do with Mika’s song? 🙂
Anyhow, Armenia’s song last year was a real dark horse. It was an amazing performance, it really brought the song alive. I feel the same will be needed here. It’s a good song, but it gets a bit repetitive and annoying after a while. To be honest, I turned it off after two minutes… Great little singer though! 🙂
My top 10 :
1)Albania (Audio is bad, But its really catchy)
2)Armenia (Finally a good up tempo song)
3)Australia (I like only the chorus)
4)The Netherlands (Magical Song,But Boring)
5)Slovenia (Boring….)
6)Russia (Another Boring song)
7)Belarus (Dull..)
8)FYR Macedonia (Reminds me of Montenegro 2014)
9)Ukraine (Dull….)
10)Georgia (No Comment)
I hope that Serbia,Italy,Malta,…. Have better songs
Rate jesc 2015: 5/10

2: Georgia – This could swap with Ukraine
3: Slovenia
4: Australia
5: Armenia
6: Albania
7: Netherlands
8: Belarus
9: Russia
10: FYR Macedonia
I think that Armenia wants to fight for last place, because it is more challenging in such embarrassing competition.
Similar song like song from Georgia. That can be disaadvantage in contest for both countries.

Really nice song 🙂
Its GreAtY that the so called gay colour of the homosexuals that is *Pink* is fully visible everywhere in the video clip of Armenia’ entry <3 🙂
4 the record Armenia's capital: Yerevan is called the *Pink* city <3 🙂
Some parts are so great. Cool Armenia. Not a big surprise but I think the staging will be amazing. And can win
My top 5! “LOVE” it!
Hah that was great, completely adorable. So much energy.
Don’t really like it. One of my least favourites along with Albania, Macedonia, and Belarus.
Absolutely LOVE it.
This is so amazing! I loved Betty last year and Mika is also great! This songs makes me want to dance! Currently my 3rd Favourite (After Ukraine & Slovenia)
It is uptempo, happy and it’s good. I feel the whole bunch of songs we have now, coming together.
I think all children will like it
Elvis Presley got back to life… and he turned into an armenian child 😮
I though this was gonna be a hot mess but I’m pleasantly surprised with this song. It’s very child friendly and its certainly memorable. Definitley a contender for the title alongside Georgia, Ukraine, Slovenia and Australia so far
