Eclipse will sing “Runaways” in the fourth deltävling of Melodifestivalen 2016 in Gävle. The song is written by band’s lead singer Erik Mårtensson. The song is about not being able to settle down, but always having a need to be on the road: “Running like a fugitive, I’m far away from home, keep on running got to get away”.
The lyrics of the song fits the band well, as Eclipse has been around since 1999 and been touring ever since. However, they are taking part in Melodifestivalen for the first time this year. Their latest album Armageddonize came out last year.
