Bosnia and Herzegovina‘s group Dalal & Deen feat. Ana Rucner and Jala have released the final version of “Ljubav je”, which has been substantially beefed up with stronger backing vocals.
The quartet’s original performance remains, but the drama has been increased with more emphasis given to the backing vocalists and the orchestral accompaniment.
Nothing new has been added to the recording, but the mix has given more strength to the backing vocals, while Ana’s cello is supported with a stronger sound given to the other string instruments.
The overall effect ramps up the drama, and emphasises the emotional intensity of the performance.

The four have also proven to be fan favourites, topping a recent Wiwi Poll, with over 2,100 votes picking “Ljubav je” as the favourite to win Eurovision 2016.
Dalal & Deen feat. Ana Rucner and Jala are in Latvia this weekend, due to perform at the Eurovision PreParty Riga. The wiwibloggs team is on the ground in Riga and will be reporting from the event with performances and exclusive interviews.
What do you think of the new mix of “Ljubav je”? Will the more dramatic sound get Bosnia and Herzegovina a place in the final?
Ugh, I just endured this song again. It doesn’t sound any better.
It is right down there with San Marino. I can’t decide if I rank B&H at 42 or 43.
amazing revamp.
For me they will pass to the final only if they change the song….. 🙁

I love it! Really hope this qualifies <3
Type of song that relies so much on staging. They can mess it up big time or impress everyone.
I don’t believe anymore in judging songs as the biggest factor because I consider there’s almost no one song that cannot be lifted up with a proper staging.
Not a favorite of mine but the song will definitely qualify because a lot of people are supporting it. The changes made between the first chorus and second verse as well as the ending part are a nice improvement.
What makes this song is the rap. Without it the song sounds like every other balkan ballad we have heard at the contest

I love the vocal additions. The chorus sounds more epic now. 🙂
I still love it, but I hold it down as a non qualifier
A nice ballad with singers paying tribute to their own native language.I wish there were more countries singing in their own language!I hope they will qualify.
I still dont like it…
Take that, Albania.
They did also revamp, but in the opposite way, it’s less dramatic
I really like the Bosnian song! And I think this is a very likely qualifier 😉
i LOVE the revamp!
@Paul
and i’ve seen a nice selfie with Barei, Ivan, Hovi Star and Ira Losco
they are already becoming friends, just like last year apparently Malta’s Amber and Iceland’s Maria were roommates in Austria 🙂
@Nicky91
She’s going to Moscow and Amsterdam at least
@Paul
well Ira is going to all of the pre-party’s, lots of practice there of course, and she had a better feeling with this new song
but that’s great to hear about Iveta, is she going to any of the party’s do you know that?
There are 13 solid songs in semi 1 and it should be hard. This one is, however, NOT one of those. Even without messes from Bosnia and Greece, it should be hard, so I genuinly hope those 2 stay in the semis regardless of countries that sent them. If Ireland, Iceland and Denmark could survive non-qualification, Bosnia and Greece should be fine too and just come-up with something better next year.
@Nicky91
I have already heard Iveta sing the song live on a video and it sounded very promising, just hope she nails it in the live performance and be able to make an impact.
About Ira, I think WOW is a much better song than Chameleon, can’t even compare both, though I think the first one will be harder for her to hit the notes cause it’s more demanding
@Paul well i must say i quite like the Bosnia song, it has something what draws into this song ( something unique, and the Balkan style fused with Hip Hop) i wish them good luck and i hope you’ll wish my favourite Ira good luck as well Paul 🙂 Ukraine has got a good song, very unique singer in Jamala, and a nice story in the song as well quite emotional Armenia, has got the whole package in Iveta, the song however could be a hit or a miss, depends on live performance best live performers for what i know… Read more »
@Jerome The Common Linnets were really good, and i was so proud of my country 🙂 and thank you for complimenting my favourite, well Ira is a good singer, and the song is very current, and the song change was just within the rules of the Maltese selection, if another act had won, they might have done the song change as well Chameleon was really nothing for a song contest, too much like Warrior last year, nice song but maybe too boring Walk On Water, it has got a dance beat, and most dance songs are crowd pleasing songs, people… Read more »
This sure is a qualifier.
First, Bosnia and Herzegovina never missed out a final.
Second, it’s in Bosnian, making the song very ethnic Bosnian.
Third, it’s one of the strongest Balkan countries in Eurovision ever.
And fourth, it’s a very ingenious idea to send a mix between pop, classical, and rap music.
I support Bosnia and Herzegovina 2016.
Love it!!!!
@Nicky91
I didn’t get offended by your comment, I just thought it wasn’t a fair one.
Although Bosnia isn’t my favourite this year I quite like it 🙂 this year I’m rooting for Ukraine / Armenia
@Nicky91
I do think that Bosnia and Herzegovina can qualify again like they’ve always done but I also fear the small chance of that not happening. I can’t help but think one of the 100% rate qualifiers (Bosnia, Greece, Romania etc) might lose that perfect record this year.
Yep. I did not think Malta was gonna be robbed. Hopefully that doesn’t happen again this year because they have a great song.
I tried to get behind the Dutch song but it’s just not the same as The Common Linnets. Personally I don’t get why this is getting traction.
@Paul
my apologies to you, if it came over that way, I Like Bosnia&Herzegovina, and i’m certainly gonna enjoy their song, and hope for the best
of course i want every country to do well
but i’m sorry if it came over as ignorant, i wouldn’t like if people are hating my favourite country
please keep supporting your favourite country and the votes are important, that’s why i’m gonna vote as well for my favourite 🙂

@Nicky91
You’re comment was very ignorant, not saying that you are ignorant, but it was a really unhappy one…
@Jerome
well i would really like them to qualify of course, Bosnia has Always been my favourite country from the Balkan, maybe Macedonia as well
i hope they do well, but i fear for the worst
my vote is going to Malta, because they were robbed last year of the final, and i like their song 🙂
but i hope Bosnia gets also enough votes and maybe qualify instead of the Netherlands, i really hope that will happen 🙂
@Nicky91
That’s your reason for thinking Bosnia & Herzegovina are not going to qualify? If it were something like “the song isn’t memorable” then I would understand, but language barriers? Nope, this most likely WILL QUALIFY. I, for one, don’t mind the use of foreign language.
@Paul
no it won’t, i can’t understand what they are singing
It’s ethnic, not in english, has 4 performers, it’s on the 2nd half, it stands out. It will qualify
It probably will qualify.
Since I can not see Bosnia and Herzegovina out of the final.
it won’t qualify
