They fell to tenth last week, but Bosnia & Herzegovina’s Dalal & Deen feat. Ana Rucner and Jala are back on top. Of the 19,435 votes cast since Saturday 12 March2,124 or 10.93% of all votes cast went to the “Ljubav Je” performers. With Eurovision 2016 still almost two months away, can the quartet maintain the momentum?

This means that Ireland’s Nicky Byrne falls to two for only the second time since the polls began in January. The “Sunlight” singer managed to gather up 1,602 votes or 8.24% of all votes cast.

Spain’s Barei remains strong at three. She released a revamped version of “Say Yay!” last week, which seems to have resulted in a slight boost in support.  She received 1,481 votes or 7.62% of all votes cast.

He might be number one with the bookies, but Russia’s Sergey Lazarev isn’t quite as popular with you. He falls two places to four, picking up 953 votes or 4.9% of all votes cast.

Sergey Lazarev “You Are The Only One”

Australia’s Dami Im lands at five, making her the highest charting new entry of the week. “Sound Of Silence” earned 924 votes or 4.75% of all votes cast.

France, Croatia, Ukraine, Latvia and Iceland complete the top ten. Elsewhere, Serbia, Sweden and Lithuania debut in the top 20. Surprisingly, San Marino’s Serhat managed to narrowly avoid last place, with the honour instead going to Montenegro’s Highway for a second week.

With Malta’s song reveal later today and Bulgaria’s over the weekend, we’ll know all 43 entries competing in Eurovision 2016. Therefore, it’s time to wind-up our “favourite act so far” polls for another year. Since 13 January y’all have cast a whooping 80,681 votes. And soon you’ll get to vote some more. Tonight we’ll launch our semi-final one poll, while our semi-final two and Eurovision 2016 polls will go live after Poli Genova debuts her entry.

But for now, what do you think of the current standings? Are you happy with the changes at the top? Who’s your Eurovision 2016 favourite? Let us know below.

My predictions for top-10 this year in alphabetical order: Ten Highly Probable: Armenia (Female model tick, sleek stage show tick, vocal showcase tick) Azerbaijan (Fierce girl with a catchy swedish pop tune) Australia (Well-produced diva ballad for a vocal powerhouse) Croatia (This year’s “fairy in the forest” is not scandinavian) Estonia (The definition of ’60s era coolness. Cut and polished like a diamond) France (Surprise winner alert. Earworm and one very likeable performer) Latvia (Dark electronica for the masses) Russia (Sakis Rouvas reincarnation blowing up half of Russia’s budget) Serbia (Adele meets Amy Winehouse in a smokey Belgrade bar for… Read more »

Ok, aside from weird first place, I still don’t get why Ireland is rolling so high, not just on this poll, but every previous one. That song is mediocre. Nothing special, it may or may not be in finals, but I don’t see the reason for it to be this high in these polls. It’s not that good.

Looking at the spread of the votes, it’s actually a pretty close spread in the mid ranks. After two really strong years, this year is more even, though there are still several songs I really like. Croatia, Switzerland, and France are my favorites this year, though I’m really surprised by Czech Republic’s song–I think it’s really great, one of their best entries ever!

My main wish is for a good show, and a first time winner, or at least someone who hasn’t won recently, just to mix it up a bit. Can’t help hoping for Budapest or Sydney 2017.

Anyone with any sense can see this is a joke. Every year that B&H participates we get the same thing. It is not a very good song and yes it will probably qualify because all the Balkans will vote for it just because it is a Balkan country regardless of whether the song is any good or not. Same with Ireland too. The song is so over rated and once Nicky sings live it will not gather the same amount of votes. On the other hand if Shane Filan were singing this song then I think we would have a… Read more »

I’m going to vomit of this poll.
Pls vote for the song and not for your country.
Bosnia ??? really ?? I’m tired of Bosnia’s entry, every single year the same song.
Ireland??? must be a joke!!! The worst song I’ve ever heard from Ireland.
For me all the way the WINNER is CROATIA.

Those are fake votes .. I followed the evolution of the poll and in one night Bosnia received 2000votes and Ireland too… This poll is biased and I’m not even sure it’s possible for both Bosnia and Ireland to qualify for the final.

Ireland leads the poll every year because of rigging and do they qualify? No. Luckily this poll doesn’t say anything about the real contest.

Seriosly??? Bosnia and Ireland??.. For me the best time to predict who’s going to win is in May, in the rehearsals. That’s when the odds houses start working more or less well. In my opinion, I can’t see Russia winning, the song is really good But at the same time oldfashioned; Australia has also an incredible song (I have to admit that I prefered Warrior from Dami) and they are vote-friendly…so lets see what happens. And finally Spain, my country, I think that we made a huge step in the right direction. Introducing English in our song is not so… Read more »

None of these matter, polls, countdowns on youtube or the betting odds. Most people who watch ESC are hearing the songs for the first time, the performances are all that matters. 2014 we all thought the UK was going in the top 5 at least, but ended up 17th. I really doubt Bosnia is going to break the top 10. Ireland would be lucky to even qualify. It’s pretty obvious Russia is going to win easily. Sergey is good looking, a great performer, Russia pumps a lot of money into ESC and he’s got 12 points from all around Eastern… Read more »

I am pretty sure, that neither entries ranked1-5 nor 25-40 in this poll will win the ESC. Anyway, no need to talk, as we must see the performances. Also Conchita was out of top 10 in polls and odds, but she nailed it. The Common Linnets were ranked 20 in odds , then turned into a kind of black horse. Aminata last year was very strong though the predictions had seen her in the middle. I think, this year is unpredictable, not like 2015. Serbia, France, Cyprus, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic R my personal favorites. Hungary´s Freddie is a hot… Read more »

I wonder what is the point of rigging the poll when it doesn’t help with the actual results. Also, IMHO, Bosnian entry is really bad and no hype on poll will probably save them in the harder semi. At least, that is what I sincerely hope will happen.

You know? If only we ignore the obvious jokes, meaning #1 and #2 and only count from #3 downwards, the poll gives more believable results. So taking that into consideration, Spain is on top, Russia second and Australia #3 That’s more believable, but I don’t think Spain nor Australia will end up that high. Ok maybe Australia, but after hearing the full song I’m not that convinced, it will depend on the live performance though, with a good staging it might do well. I don’t know what to expect from Spain because there’s always so much hype around them and… Read more »
