The always busy Jedward have released their new single “Good Vibes”, with a music video filmed in Los Angeles. But the Irish twins will also be heading to China, scheduled to make an appearance on top talk show Day Day Up.
“Good Vibes” brings a chilled out feeling, with cool tropical house sounds mixing with John and Edward’s smooth vocals. The lyrics pay tribute to someone who brings good feelings, with the chorus imploring, “It’s always good vibes when you’re close nearby”.
The video was shot in Los Angeles, with the twins striking poses around locations such as Santa Monica, Runyon Canyon and the Los Angeles River.
Jedward take on China
John and Edward are taking the good vibes to China, as they are due to make an appearance on the popular talk show Day Day Up as part of an episode dedicated to twins.
The invitation to the show followed Jedward’s single “Free Spirit” reaching No.3 on MTV China’s Western Music Chart. Jedward are preparing for their visit with Chinese cover art for “Good Vibes”.
Day Day Up is one of the most popular shows on Chinese television, with an expected audience of around 10 million. The show screens on Hunan TV, who will be known to Eurovision fans as the Chinese broadcaster of the song contest.

Ive never liked them and I really don’t want to see them at the contest again – they’ve had their moment in the sun!
What I would actually like to see is that somebody covers hit-streak of Marija Serifovic, Eurovision winner with two super popular singles and second career highlight. Or Sertab Erener, another Eurovision winner, with her latest and successful album. Instead of writting about some ever-failure gay-meme band.
I like this song. It reminds me of one of my own album tracks. Good to see Jedward still doing well. 🙂
I’d like to see them back at Eurovision. RTÉ should internally select them again next year. It was nice to see us doing well at Eurovision when they were representing us in 2011 and 2012.
