The final eight semi-finalists of Eurovision 2021 had their second rehearsals on 14 May. The Black Mamba kept it classy, Victoria enchanted us, Blind Channel delivered a dazzling light show, and that’s just a sample.

After reading the reviews from the press and watching the official rehearsal clips, we asked you to vote for which act you thought delivered the best second rehearsal out of these eight countries.

A total of 5,918 votes were cast, and we can now reveal the winner…

Samanta Tina delivered your favourite second rehearsal on 14 May

The queen that’s come out on top of this poll is Samanta Tina from Latvia. The star received 2,962 votes, which is a staggering 50.05% of the total.

This marks a considerable rise for the Latvian star after she finished seventh in our previous first rehearsal poll. Samanta shared this poll in her Instagram story and clearly her fans are ready to support her entry “The Moon Is Rising” all the way.

Wiwiblogger Padraig had this to say after viewing Samanta Tina’s second rehearsal:

“The visor-wearing backing singers. The molten gold. The crowns of hands. There’s a whole lot of crazy on show. Yet oddly, it all feels a little tame. This should be barnstorming. If only they could borrow Spain’s blood moon. Still, we get a great vocal from Samanta and she is indeed the queen of the stage. The LED coordinates nicely with both her movements and the beat, with reverbs of light filling the screen at all the right moments. There’s also a spectacular overhead shot of Samanta spinning around on the highly ornate LED floor. Overall everything is crisper.”

Taking home the silver medal is Bulgaria’s VICTORIA. Her rehearsal of “Growing Up Is Getting Old” picked up 938 votes (15.85% of the total). The star made a few minor alterations to her Eurovision stage performance, such as putting the picture of herself and her dad in a frame, but otherwise this was just as beautiful as the first time.

In third place are The Black Mamba from Portugal. The group continue to impress with their staging, which helps tell the story of their song “Love Is On My Side”. In the poll, the Portuguese group earned 534 votes (9.02%).

The other act to receive over 500 votes was Gjon’s Tear. The Swiss representative finished fourth and clocked up 518 votes (8.75%) for his avant-garde stage performance.

Rounding out the top five is Anxhela Peristeri of Albania. A stage show that is very much centred around the colour red, the star delivers a passionate and powerful performance. Anxhela was awarded 381 votes (6.44%).

Poll results: Who had the best second rehearsal on 14 May?

  1. Latvia: Samanta Tina – “The Moon Is Rising” – 50.05%  (2,962 votes)
  2. Bulgaria: VICTORIA – “Growing Up Is Getting Old” – 15.85%  (938 votes)
  3. Portugal: The Black Mamba – “Love Is On My Side” – 9.02%  (534 votes)
  4. Switzerland: Gjon’s Tears – “Tout l’univers” – 8.75%  (518 votes)
  5. Albania: Anxhela Peristeri – “Karma” – 6.44%  (381 votes)
  6. Finland: Blind Channel – “Dark Side” – 5.31%  (314 votes)
  7. Denmark: Fyr og Flamme – “Øve os på hinanden” – 3.36%  (199 votes)
  8. Georgia: Tornike Kipiani – “You” – 1.22%  (72 votes)

Total Votes: 5,918

To be honest, Samanta’s snippet on Eurovision’s youtube channel was the most impressive and conviencing. Good luck to Latvia this year!

It’s pretty obvious that those votes came from an influence. Every one here getting triggered for no reason at all.

It must been a hacker, otherwise I can’t imagine who could vote for Latvia when it’s almost last in all the polls, in the betting odds, in the Press Poll, etc

In 2017 Finlands Black Bird was first with the poll press but in the end they didn’t qualify to the final.
PS
Belgium was last one with 0 points but Blanche was 4th in the final

For Samanta’s sake, I hope that these stans are as passionate in real voting as they are in this one. Obviously, Bulgaria, Switzerland, and likely Portugal are having this half in a bag. Still, there are 2-3 open spots, so who knows, maybe Latvia is a bigger draw than assumed? In all fairness, Samanta IS mesmerizing as a performer. Before the song came out, I called her the “jack in a box” of this year. I told she could bring something for top ten or bottom five. And while I’m leaning towards the latter, I can respect her dedication in… Read more »

When someone (Latvia) shared the poll is easy to ”win”. She was on the bottom…and for a few minutes – 1st place. LOL
The real top 3 here is:
1.Bulgaria
2.Portugal
3.Switzerland

This is the Press Poll Results (Day 7):
1.Bulgaria
2.Portugal
3.Switzerland
4.Albania
5.Finland
6.Denmark
7.Latvia
8.Georgia

Btw…it’s so funny how someone really don’t like VICTORIA (or Bulgaria) and downvote extremely much every positive comment about her (in every article). Keep going, but it’s clear – she did a great job. That’s a fact! 😉

Bulgaria had some issues yesterday with the noise from some machine and some shots. So naturally it can’t have been the best rehearsal. The question is about best rehearsal not best song or performance. It is about who had the least amount of issues, who executed what they planned to execute.

I think tht’s fair enough (although I don’t agree) – but we’re talking Best Second Rehearsal – NOT best song or best performance overall!

I got a question for you: WHY?

Either I’m not getting the meaning of the performance or we just got the sequel of the diehard Croatians

It is such a low class for a singer to promote the poll and manipulate the voting.

Don’t be confused – Samanta’s designer, who happens to be one of the biggest influencers in Latvia, shared the poll on his instagram.

Before that, Latvia and Albania were battling for 4th place.
