As per usual, Lithuania is one of the first countries to kick off its Eurovision national selection early in the New Year. Heat one of Eurovizija.LT saw nine acts taking to the stage and battling for two tickets to the live final in Kaunas.

This year, the show will be presented by Gabrielė Martirosian, Nombeko Augustė Khotseng and a new face to the Lithuanian Eurovision world — LRT presenter Rimvydas Cerniauskas.

If you want you can rewatch Heat One of Eurovizija.LT on LRT’s website, as well as on LRT1 or LRT Lituanica.

Eurovizija.LT 2025: Heat one results

Lithuania is one of a very few Eurovision nations to have reached the top 15 on the final scoreboard for the last four years running. Last year, Silvester Belt brought Lithuania a top five finish in the semi final and a top 10 televote result in the grand final.

It will be interesting to see if the country will manage to continue this streak of success in 2025. Perhaps they could achieve their best result ever, which so far is sixth place in 2006 with the iconic “We Are the Winners“.

Two jury bait songs that I’m unsure would get through the Final. One is a voice in search of a better song, the second is Rosa Linn vibe without a hook. Commendable but I’d be worried.

My exact reaction after learning the results: sure, why not. I would prefer if Rute and Juste advanced, but this will do.

Are Lithuanians deaf? Am I listening differently? Ruta was so unique and not even in the top 3!!!! They choose 2 generic forgettable songs

She was in the top3 for the Public, not the Jury though. The song was very unique and interesting, but the performance was so bad, it was hard to watch, honestly. A shame we lost that song though

Two finalists down, eight more to go from the remaining 36 artists. Let’s hope for a final full of good options for Lithuanian to choose from on February 15. That is all I ask for.

I would have preferred Tai kur namai as one of the two finalists, but Running Out of Time and Tired are not too bad as options. I’m currently in a sad funk about the outcome, but I’ll get over it down the line. Just give me time.

I guess the road ends here for Ruta. That song will play forever in my national final playlist but congratulations to anyana and Juste.

God, dammit, this is why I should never get so attached to one particular song. Ruta was robbed. Well, your loss Lithuania, unless there’s something else that’s strong enough to compensate. That said I did expect running out of time and tired to go through as potential so I’m half satisfied.

Robbed? The results were clear and obvious, the jury and the viewers agreed on who should make it to the final. So saying somewone were robbed is a big misuse of the word!

Yes, the results are fair and I respect that. I’m not angry about the results like some fans were weeks ago when Elvana lost in Albania, but I am genuinely very sad And close to tears seeing Ruta’s song not make it through because I loved it and thought it would be a great option for Lithuania. I’ll make peace with it in time and I won’t rage about it with “your loss, Lithuania” forever. I hope with whoever we end up as our 10 finalists, lithuania can have something that can continue their qualification rate and not fail to… Read more »

Listened to the track on YouTube and it’s pretty good… Get why you like it. It wasn’t helped on the live show by the replay clip where she screamed and then graphics showed… No reminder of the actual song. An odd choice of clip. Anywho… Plenty more to go from the sounds of it – ‘Running out of Time’ – total meh. Have a great weekend.

So ‘Running out of time’ and ‘Tired’? Got confused with the scoring. Anywho… Back to season 2 of For All Mankind.

Have a great rest of weekend all 🙂

This is such a bad semi-final, I can’t even… I really hope we will have someting better to offer on the next 4 semi’s…

I don’t know if it really matters much, but song number three just crossed the thousand view threshold on YouTube, with running out of time behind at over 600 views. I know that’s not very much in comparison, but so far they might be the top two if we go by views, but that may not mean anything right now

Sent 4 votes for #3 (Tai, kur namai?) And 1 vote for #8 (Tired). Only 5 votes possible. I suspect Anyanalya will get 12 Pts from the Jury as they were praising his song like a masterpiece.

#8 and a tossup between #5 & #7. #9 with some (Bambie Thug) work to reduce the noise and increase the musicality… #3 the replay doesn’t showcase the song so can’t remember it.

Are you talking about the song tired? Yes I like that one too . It kinda reminds me of Armenia‘s 2022 entry snap, to the point that when I was listening to the studio cut, I kept mentally adding “snapping one two, where are you?” What do you think of songs 4-7because I didn’t see you write any comments for them?

if there is justice, Ruta will be the winner of this heat and everyone else is scrambling for second place. OK, I’ll be fine with her going second if someone else does go ahead of her, but I don’t care whether she’s number one or number two, she’s gotta go to the final. I really wish I lived in Lithuania so I can give all my votes to her.

Tai kur namai? It’s definitely my favorite out of the songs we have so far for both this heat and everything that’s been released so far. it would be a big robbery if it doesn’t get into the final.

Yes, I meant Tai kur namai. This is the only song so far that has a well-excecuted vision and some effort put into it. The rest looked like they showed up just because. At this point I don’t have much hope for the last 2 songs, but I’ll try to keep an open mind.

When it comes to the Lithuanian selection, you always have to keep your expectations kinda low because when you have 45 songs, the majority of them are gonna be crap, but every so often there is a very special diamond that emerges from the coal. I don’t blame people for waiting until the 10th finalist are chosen, but I like to get in deep.

Song 3: nice graphics, good vocal (and can be heard during the quieter parts), song a bit traditional without being memorable.

Nah. I can’t remember the song already, but can see the singer, dancing, visuals, and remember it had a vocal ending. Armenia last year… Amazing cultural piece that was upbeat, Gåte had a amazing cultural piece that wasn’t rewarded. I think song 3 would disappear in a sea of presumably more impactful pieces.
Maybe it’ll reverb on the replays later… Sometimes that happens.

It’s actually the highest rated song for the Lithuanian selection according to eurovisionworld.com where it has a 4.9 out of five from 446 ratings, which is very high And higher than some of the highest rated songs in the other national Finals this year. Rita’s music video is approaching Almost 12,000 views since she released it yesterday.

It may not be resonating with you personally,, but I think there are a lot of people that do like it.

Song 2: again, nice, but the music/backing track drowning out the live vocal… Hard to differentiate the live performance.

BadWoolfGirl

That seems to be a sound problem with the venue. I hope it doesn’t affect the final results of all the artists whether they go to the final or not.

Tonight Lithuania will shine solo tonight. Anybody from Lithuania here what’s the biggest buzz from this grouping ofartists, and who would you like to see make the final? For me, I wanna see Tai kur namai be one of the 10 finalists With either tired or Svajon?s po 12 joining it, maybe running out of time if it turns out to be really good or at least performed well, since Anyanya was hyped as the most familiar name in the previous article on heat one due to him winning the voice of Lithuania. Whatever happens tonight, I wish and hope… Read more »
