The Big Five are set to compete in the grand final of Eurovision 2025, getting there directly without going through the semi-finals, as has long been tradition.

Earlier this month, we asked you to vote for your top favourites of these five entries. After exactly 7,000 votes, we have the results!

Germany’s Abor & Tynna are favourites from the Big Five

It was a pretty even match among all the songs, but the one that you the people have deemed as your favourite is Germany’s Abor & Tynna with their upbeat number “Baller”!

This sibling duo are bringing the German language back to the Eurovision stage for the first time since 2007. “Baller” scored 23.27% of the total vote share, or 1,629 votes.

In second place, we have the United Kingdom’s Remember Monday with the eclectic “What the Hell Just Happened?” This trio of West End performers offer one of the most dynamic songs of the year, hoping to put a theatrical spin on the contest’s repertoire. They’ve scored 21.91% of the total, or 1,534 votes.

Following in third place, there’s Spain’s Melody with the rousing “ESA DIVA”. A notable star ever since an early age, Melody handily won Benidorm Fest and earned the right to represent Spain after much hype over her participation. She garnered 21.23% of the total in this poll, or 1,486 votes.

Fourth place goes to France’s Louane with the tender ballad “maman”. One of the odds’ favourites to take it all, Louane was the last artist to reveal her song, doing so in grand style as a half-time show during a Six Nations Rugby match. The star has garnered 20.97% of the share, or 1,468 votes.

And in fifth place, we have Italy’s Lucio Corsi, with the classical rock “Volevo essere un duro”. The Sanremo runner-up catapulted through the charts in his local Italy as the contest progressed, coming under a percentage point of winning the esteemed contest. He fell behind by a larger margin in this poll, picking up 12.61% of the total, or 883 votes.

I’m really concerned about Germany…..she has had vocal issues for weeks and weeks. I struggle to believe that she can deliver this song live in Switzerland. Such a shame.

My favourite had been Spain, but in my opinion they’ve ruined the song & taken the Spanish element out of it, such a shame. So my top 5 are now :-
1. UK, very Elton/Queen.
2. Italy, reminds me of the 70’s music I listened to.
3. Spain, go back to the original PLEASE.
4. France, not the best ballad.
5. Germany, not my cup of tea.

Italy, mid tempo rockish song, meaningful.
Germany, clubby bop, fresh, cool.
France, emotional ballad, universal message.
Spain, girl bop, spanish feels.
UK, fun song, great harmonies.
There’s something for everybody.
