She’s an Italian pop music goddess currently travelling across Italy to promote her album Adesso.
And last Monday Emma Marrone — aka “The Real Brown” on Instagram — upped her profile yet again by appearing in the official music video “Libre” from Spanish superstar Álvaro Soler.
Emma — who famously wore gold panties on stage at Eurovision 2014 — sings the chorus of the song, letting loose and bringing a sultry feminine touch to this Latin-tinged song.
Alvaro is a big deal.
The Barcelona-born stud previously collaborated with J.Lo on the bi-lingual version of his song “El mismo sol“, and his song “Sofia” reached the Top 10 in Spain, Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, Poland and Switzerland.
His music melds folk instruments with his seductive voice, resulting in catchy tunes that make us move our hips while serving Olé! realness.
“Libre” sticks to the successful formula.
It’s a beautiful song with thoughtful lyrics about infinite love. “Complications yes, boredom no,” Alvaro sings. For him freedom means have strings, which include supporting a family and the woman he loves. It’s getting older with her and waking up in the same bed each morning. If that woman is Emma then sign us up.
The music video sees Emma and Alvaro travel through the most beautiful parts of Italy. Think forest trails, beautiful waterfalls and golden wheat fields.
Alvaro drives an old-fashioned car and Emma leads a horse, and together they have fun in an Old Town and while riding bikes around a lake. They get living and love — and we get them!

This version is great, it got an interesting twist with the italian bits and Emma’s sexyness, but I think I prefer the original 100% in spanish with Paty Cantú.
I love Alvaro, his album Eterno Agosto is simply a masterpiece. I would prefer him over Ruth Lorenzo to represent Spain next year, even if at this moment it seems like a very thin possibility.
