Tijana Dapcevic, FYR Macedonia’s Eurovision 2014 singer, has finally unveiled her entry “Tamu Kaj Sto Pripagjam”, which means “There Where I Belong” in English. She previously called the song “Pobeda” (Victory). Perhaps she thought that was a bit presumptuous…

It is still unknown whether she is going to sing in English or Macedonian.
The song was presented in Hit na mesecot show. Tijana wore black pantsuit with ultra-red high heels, which is quite unusual combination to wear at song presentation. It’s not like it’s happening every day,Tijana!
Elena Risteska, who represented FYR Macedonia in 2006, penned the lyrics to the song. She achieved the country’s best place up to date, finishing 12th in 2006. Can she beat herself with this number?
The composers of Tijana’s song are Lazar Cvetkovski and Darko Dimitrov. Darko is familiar to Eurovision family as he was the author of Macedonian songs in 2006 and 2013.
English version is entitled “To the sky” and it was penned by Elena and Darko,in collaboration with Laura Rosca from Romania.
We strongly hope that Macedonians won’t bring any drama this year. We don’t need another case of “Imperija”!
Tamu kaj sto pripagjam LYRICS
Ti bese sonce sto me smiruva
Nezen veter sto me miluva
Vinozito sto me nasmevnuva
Leden dozd sto me rasplakuva
Vodime, tamu kaj spomentie
Samo tamu, votime
Sakam tamu kaj sto pocna se
Vrati me nazad, vo vremeto,
Tamu me nosi srceto
Vrati me nazad, da ziveam,
Tamu kaj sto pripagjam
Sonceto veke ne me smiruva
Dusata nisto ne ja raduva
Samo minatoto me lekuva
Koga jas vo tebe silno veruvam
Vodi me, tamu kaj spomenite
Samo tamu, vodime
Sakam tamu kaj sto pocna se
Vrati me nazad, vo vremeto,
Tamu me nosi srceto
Vrati me nazad, da ziveam,
Tamu kaj sto pripagjam
Sega krevam race kon mesecinata
I baram nadez, baram son, baram svetlina,
I vo se jas baram, baram, baram,
Ljubov, ljubov za nas
Vodi me, tamu kaj spomenite
Samo tamu, vodime
Sakam tamu kaj sto pocna se
Vrati me nazad, vo vremeto,
Tamu me nosi srceto
Vrati me nazad, vo vremeto,
Tamu me nosi srceto
Vrati me nazad, da ziveam,
Tamu kaj sto pripagjam
To the Sky lyrics
I gotta feeling that I wanna go loud
Make my move, and let it all get out
I gotta a feeling that I wanna go wild
Take my hand, baby I got all night
Take me now, you know I want you
Hold me now, cause I can’t stop it
Take me up where we can do this to the stars tonight
Where do we go now, to the sky
You and I, beautiful
Where do we go no, to the stars
Shining so bright, and to the sky
Where do we go now?
I gotta feeling that I need you all the time
Make me feel that is why you are mine
I gotta feeling that we both can shine
Held together by the hand of life
Take me now, you know I want you
Hold me now, cause I can’t stop it
Take me up where we can do this to the stars tonight
Where do we go now, to the sky
You and I, beautiful
Where do we go now, to the stars
Shining so bright, and to the sky
No I don’t wanna live without you for another day
And if I said it once it means you will have to stay
You better hold me, dance, stay like this forever
Take me dancing tonight
Take me now, you know I want you
Hold me now, cause I can’t stop it
Noooooooooooow
Where, where do we go?
Where, where do we go?
Where, where do we go?
Where, where do we go now?
To the sky now, you and I, beautiful
Where, where do we go now?
To the stars, shinking so bright and to the sky
Where, where do we go now?
To the stars, shinking so bright, and to the sky…
Where, where do we go now?

The back track on it is weak, but hopefully her live voice is good. Catchy tune!! Don’t mind it in either language.
It would be good to see her sing it live but I think they should use the English version to help it earn more points. AS for placing well since a vast majority of the songs are dull folks songs or joke songs then It could A. Do relatively well e.g.10th-15th B. Do awful or C. Be drowned out by the other duller songs.

Am I the only one?
I like it a lot!!!!! GO MACEDONIA GO!!!!
Finally a modern song again from macedonia! I hope she performs it in english!
Italy and Macedonia have the best songs so far.
this sucks! she shows rock n’ roll in her voice and her looks, but then comes this flat dull pop-song it sucks so bad i was really hoping for something better from macedonia.
I like it!
English or Macedonian won’t make a difference. Average is what best describes this song. It needs a spark but not sure what it can be.
No this is not special!
She should do a music video 😀
It’s great!! I love Macedonian choice this year. I think it’s better than the whole 32 songs in Melodifestivalen this year…
who is your favourite in esc 2014? http://www.turesc.net/2014/02/whats-your-favourite-songs-in.html
Fortunately, the song isn’t that much appealing to LGBT crowd so it’ll sound alienating and kitsch. Sounds a bit weak, TBH. I may give a chance to this, but I’ll wait for an official version,
This will be among my top 5 favorites, for sure 😉
SO SREKA, TIJANA 🙂
It is quite good when you see Macedonia’s previous efforts and this year already selected songs. It may have some life even beyond ESC.
Her voice kinda reminds me of Emma Marrone’s(Italy) voice 😀
I hope she will sing macedonian version,’cause it’s way better 🙂 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3PIYoT7S-I here you can listen to it 🙂
This is EPIC.
This is actually really amazing. But too bad Macedonia chooses to send this song the year, when only two other ex-Yugoslavs are taking part. I sense a good placing, but it could of even been better if Serbia, Croatia, and Bosnia were taking part too.
Actually really impressed, haven’t heard the macedonian version though… But I think they will have a good chance of reaching the final in Copenhagen, and I think it’s one of the best songs yet…
Obvious lipsync… but finally, a modern dance-pop song in Eurovision this year. There was getting to be too much of the folk and rock stuff – it’s nice to see Macedonia providing some balance. It’s pretty good, but let’s see what her real live vocals are like (as well as the Macedonian version).
Wow. She has a really deep voice.
Is this FYR Macedonia’s version of P!nk?
Pretty standard song. I see a 15-20th place in the final for this, only because of all the Mumford we seem to be getting.
