I don’t watch this trashy country’s selection shows this year, I’ll wait for that amazing song that is coming from Azerbaijan! I heard it’s too good to be true, I guess Baku waits for us! Such a great city and country!

So why do you comment if this so trashy country? Your comment shows more of a jealousy rather than anything trash related. Can’t even imagine what kind of person would bring themselves to say trashy about the country. Now I am certain not to vote for Azerbaijan.

Guys, it’s all very simple. Corect running order is this because Ruta Loop on her FB account posted “please vote for me sending sms with text 02”. 1 – Basas Pegasas – “Ponai” 2 – Ruta Loop – “Call Me from the Cold” 3 – Vasha – “Nepaleidi” 4 – Geleibra – “Aš jauciu tave” 5 – Vilija Mataciunaite – “Šimtas ir vienas” 6 – Emilija Valiukeviciute – “Overload” 7 – Gintare Korsakaite – “Fantasy Eyes” 8 – Živile Gedvilaite – “Lioness” 9 – Monika Liu – “Sentimentai” 10 – Gebrasy – “Into Your Arms” 11 – Menulio Faze –… Read more »

I’ve found this running order posted on two other Eurovision news sites that I follow: Gebrasy – Into Your Arms M?nulio faz? – Give Me a Sign Lolita Zero – Not Your Mother Monika Liu – Sentimental R?ta Loop – Call Me From the Cold Basas Pegasas – Ponai Vilija – Šimtas ir vienas Vasha – Nepaleidi Emilija Valiukevi?i?t? – Overload Geleibra – Aš jau?iu tave Gintar? Korsakait? – Fantasy Eyes Živil? Gedvilait? – Lioness Now, does this seem more plausible, or is also just as nonsensical? I don’t know what to think. I personally find it odd that (IMO)… Read more »

Ruta Loop encouraged people on her Facebook page to vote for her by providing the performance number which is 02. Based on that, the running order above is not correct.

That’s what I saw on the Wikipedia page too. If it’s true she’s going second, this might be the most accurate running order. Is Ruta allowed to reveal her running spot order in order to get people to vote for her? Is that legal? I hate to see her disqualified over a technicality. Seeing Ruta perform second while Monika and Gebrasy perform later does concern me that she could be at risk for being a surprise non-qualifier, but then again last week An artist who performed second in heat 2 did qualify so what do I know? I hope ruta… Read more »

Nah, I do not think this is illegal because artists who participate in national selection in Lithuania do that all the time.

Okay, so it’s a common practice. If it wasn’t a problem before, why should it be a problem now?

It still doesn’t allay my fear that Ruta might not get enough support from Jury or televote to qualify though. How popular is she as an artist?

She is not someone who is very famous. But she does have fans.

As for her chances to qualify, Auguste started the first heat and came in 2nd. I am hopeful.

And Just? Kraujelyt? performed second in heat 2 and she came in second place to qualify from there as well. So there is precedent that Ruta could get a similar result.

The one thing that is confusing me is that I am seeing conflicting running orders from one site to another. The heat 3 running order presented here in this wiwibloggs article doesn’t match up with the running order presented on the wikipedia page for Lithuania’s selection, and another Eurovision site has a completely different order. I’m so confused.
