This semi-final will see five acts perform — four semi-finalists and one pre-qualified act. The semi-finalists will be split into two duels.
- Mari Bølla “Your Loss”
- Oda Gondrosen “Hammer of Thor”
- Sturla “Skår i hjerte”
- Vilde “Titans”
The public will vote for their favourite in each duel, with the two winners progressing to the “Gold Duel”. The public will then vote once more. The winner of the gold duel will win the semi-final and qualify directly to the grand final. The eliminated acts will remain in contention for a wildcard spot in the final, which will be decided later on in the season.
In addition to the duels, pre-qualified act NorthKid will perform their entry “Someone”.

When does Sophie sing?
if hammer of thor has the right (nordic) staging and the voice is strong and clear like in the studioversion, this can win MGP.
the bookies were 2 times wrong, maybe today again.
🙂
Sad that Subwoolfer can’t perform today, but of course health protocols come first. I hope they recover from Covid as quickly as possible! The third heat is not really to my liking as none of these songs (including NorthKid) don’t resonate good with me. Nevertheless looking forward to the show!
Even though I prefer Elsie Bay, I’m Annoyed that Subwoofer got Covid, would of loved to seen the live performance! Not to worry, next heat!
They will get their chance to perform later, they are just delayed due to their Covid diagnosis. Hopefully they can get well soon.
