On Saturday 17 February, Moldova has a very important decision to make. At the grand final of Etapa Națională 2024, the country will choose its act for Eurovision in May.
Following the ever-iconic live auditions, 11 artists are still in the running.
But before the Moldovan public and jury cast their votes, we want to hear from you. Which of the 11 singers do you think deserves the opportunity to fly to Malmö?

No song wowed me, but there are some equally fine options here – Anti-Princess, Contrasens, Fever (Catalina’s), In the Middle, even Light Up (minus the vocal performance, of course). We know who’s taking it, right? Having a millionaire husband helps when the broadcaster needs some finacial support. But to be fair, it really is one of the songs that sound decent here.
Valeria Pasha’s “Anti-Princess” is the only one I could actually listen for the second time…

We can talk about who should represent them yet, we know who WILL.
I’d like to see a Eurovision where all the participants are first timers, but it’s very likely we’ll have another Moldovan returnee for the fourth time in a row. We haven’t had anyone new represent Moldova since 2019.
I’m really sorry but I literally enjoy half of the selection more than Natalia Barbu. Catalina, Valeria, Reghina, Iulia and even Sasha Letty have something uplifting, cheerful, happy or quirky. While Natalia is just like almost every returning artist this year, that just wants to come back with just an okay song, especially by their standards. And In the Middle is also in this category, it couldn’t be safer. I don’t even see it as a very safe qualifier this year

Iulia’s Runaway has a very nice romanian pop sound
Victor’s Fever is a guilty pleasure for me
but my no.1 fave here is Reghina’s Contrasens, such a fun song
C?t?lina Solomac for me. I’ve been playing that song non stop since I first heard it.
I’ve been very impressed by her performance in the audition. Sadly, she won’t have the support Barbu or Pasha may get.
Barbu is the frontrunner but on the eurovision subreddit, romanian and moldovan users said Catalina Solomac has actually more hype for her than Valeria Pasha rn

Anti-Princess would give Moldova the best result out of these. In the Middle is decent but would have been better as a potential Romanian entry and will not appeal to televoters in May. Valeria Pasha has a good voice and has the sass needed to do well plus the song is written by the legendary PASHA PARFENI.
I’m going for Sasha Letty’s DNA. It is such a happy-go-lucky track with the added benefit of oddly inappropriate lyrics.

Barbu since she is the favourite? Or maybe Pasha because she has the other Pasha supporting her?
Whatever Moldova sends is gonna be DOA in SF1, Valeria might sneak with a strong performance, and they don’t wanna send her if they put her perform 2nd
The running order has been draw randomly, by the contestants themselves. So the RO doesn’t mean anything from the production,Valeria just did’nt had luck.
The same was said about Trenuletul and it ended up winning the televote 2 years ago
They came second in televoting, Ukraine won.
