Luxembourg is set to return to the Eurovision stage in Malmö, and after a solid national selection process, Tali has emerged as the one to fly their flag with her modern French pop banger “Fighter”.

Luxembourg at Eurovision 2024: Tali with “Fighter”

23-year-old Tali Golergant has roots from multiple nations.

Born in Israel and living across several countries in South America, her family settled in Luxembourg, where she was raised and where her love for music began.

Moving to New York City, she went on to release her first EP, Lose You, at age 16, touring local venues, and trying her hand at acting on stage and in independent films.

She was revealed to be one of the seven contestants in Luxembourg Song Contest, the country’s national selection, which she won decisively, earning the right to go to Eurovision and represent Luxembourg in the contest.

What do the “Fighter” lyrics mean?

Blending French and English, “Fighter” is a modern piece of global pop produced by a star team. This includes Dario “Dardust” Faini, writer of multiple Sanremo hits, such as the Italian entry for Eurovision 2019, the megahit and contest runner-up, “Soldi”.

“Fighter” starts with the sense of urgency one struggles with after reaching a certain age and how it seems a foregone conclusion that the worst-case scenario will happen if you stay on your path.
