Lena Meyer-Landrut is the only German artist to ever have three songs debut in the Top 5 of the singles charts. And her song “Satellite” became the fastest digital download of all-time in Germany shortly after it was released in March. In this rather candid interview with eurovision.tv (below), she explains how special it feels to be representing Germany and she reveals that she’d like to become an “international actor” one day. Wiwi loves this interview because Lena—clearly exhausted from all the rehearsals and attention—seems to be radiating sass and attitude. She makes it clear that German Eurovision legend Stefan Raab advises her, but doesn’t control her. And she grimaces when the interviewer asks if she’s met the songwriters of her song. “I don’t know them. I have no time. I’m talking with you so I can’t talk with them.” Wiwi hopes she gets a nap before the final, or she might throw the microphone at an audience member….
