Normally when an old man threatens a young lady, somebody calls the police. Fortunately Eurovision fights are conducted through song, so the standoff between Estonia’s Getter Jaani and Bosnia’s Dino Merlin will be settled by televotes—not the cops.

The bookies have Getter and Dino locked in a dead heat. They’re co-favorites at 3:1 (though a handful of agencies have Getter down at 5/2, just edging out Dino). Sweden, Denmark, and Romania round out the top 5. Israel’s Dana International would qualify in 10th, narrowly missing elimination.

In Wiwi’s ongoing poll “Who Will Win the Second-Semi-Final at Eurovision 2011?” the results are slightly different. Eric Saade is currently fans’ favorite with20% of all votes. He’s followed by the Netherlands’ 3Js, and Israel’s Dana International. In Wiwi’s poll, the Netherlands and Cyprus would sneak into the final, while Ireland and Romania would be eliminated in the semis.
