Albania, Rona Nishliu, 2

When we last checked the odds to win the first semi-final at Eurovision 2012 on April 15, Russia’s Buranovskiye Babushki had moved past Denmark’s Soluna Samay as the favorite to win with the bookies. That remains the case today. But further down the table we see some big changes. Iceland’s Gréta Salóme & Jónsi (“Remember me”) continue their impressive climb. They’ve moved up from fourth position last month to third position today. Romania’s Mandinga have moved from fifth to fourth. And Greece’s Eleftheria Eleftheriou has fallen from third to fifth. The other countries expected to qualify for the final are Ireland, Cyprus, Moldova, Albania and Israel.

Albania’s Rona Nishliu and Israel’s Izabo were not in the Top 10 in April. But they have managed to push ahead of Hungary’s Compact Disco and Finland’s Pernilla Karlsson, who now seem poised for elimination.

Here are the current standings. Countries are ranked by average odds across 17 British betting sites. I’ve listed the odds from three of these agencies (Bet365, SkyBet, and Boylesports).

countries that will advance to the final

No, I am referring to the “To win outright” chart, it wasn’t updated this morning, now I see Romania is on the sixth place by odds, thanks for the reply!

Why do you still have Denmark and Ireland in front of Romania on your odds chart, as it is clear than since yesterday Romania is on the seventh place, followed by Denmark and then Ireland???

I prefer to see Switzerland & Hungary qualify over Russia, Greece and Cyprus.
