The race to win A Dal, Hungary’s national selection for Eurovision 2014, is heating up. Earlier this evening contestant Kállay Saunders András released the official videoclip for his entry “Running”. The dark song discusses a child’s battle with an abusive father. As he sings: “Daddy’s home, so she tries to hide. She calls her mom, but never a reply…she starts running, running, running…” The video captures the mood with plenty of shadows and a father who oozes rage. It’s a daring video that honors those children who dare to defy their abuser.
This will be András third time in the competiton, and some believe it may be a matter of third time lucky. What do you think about his song? Would it be a good choice for Hungary? Or is it too bold for ESC?

This guy is such a chameleon. What a versatile style. He can do upbeat, dance stuff and now this. What a transformation and he does it all well.
It’s brilliant! I HATED his song last year. What a transformation.
Don’t like it. Last year’s song was better.
Definitely my favourite from this year’s A Dal. I think it’ll win and I think it has the potential to win Eurovision this year, it’s that amazing. András Kállay-Saunders’ song from last year was my second favourite (after Gigi Radics’) and I think those both had the potential to do really well. It’s just a matter of time before Hungary wins.
I think it’s an awesome songs. We don’t always see this in Eurovision, so I think it’s great.
