Romania’s Paula Seling and Ovi are on a roll, y’all. After a live video and a folkloric version of “Miracle”, the duo have just released an acoustic version of the same song, featuring an old friend from Oslo: the double-sided piano. And it sounds like a ballad!
But don’t fret! The piano merely pays homage to their 2010 Eurovision performance. Their 2014 show will be entirely new and futuristic even. We’re being told that the two are in talks with a Romanian choreographer who also helped them with the Selectia Nationala hologram and they will also have Danish backing singers on stage.
Yesterday, the Romanian head of delegation Liana Stanciu “interviewed” the two for Eurovision.tv:
Next up, the duo is ready to take on Europe, after Paula honours her previously scheduled concert dates in Romania. She confirmed to the Romanian press that they would be present at all the main pre-Eurovision events, in London, Brussels and Amsterdam, where they will perform live, as usual. Moreover, a video of the actual studio version of “Miracle” is planned, but more about that, later on. Stay tuned!
Until then, what do you think about “Miracle” – the ballad? Did you miss the double piano?

Bucharest 2015!
This version is much better. It has became an own sound. They should remove the Glorious-Euphoria-sound and use this orchestra sound. Then they have a real chance!
ESC 2015 Bucharest Team Miracle <3
This is way better than the actual “Miracle”. The actual version sounds like it was written just on a whim last minute as a stupid dance song. If you overlook the horrible lyrics this version is very pleasant. I’m sure they’ll qualify no matter what version they perform since Romania always does, don’t see it doing too well in the final though. Despite sending one of the worst Eurovision songs in history (imo) last year, I think they’ll still place lower than him despite this being a big improvement from Cezar.
(sorry about the sloppy typing! someone talked to me while I was writing, hehe)
That is so sadly true, Armen!
Just remember what happen what happened when Charlotte tried a “comeback” with Hero (yet another crappy schlager tune, however catchy).
The more I listen to Miracle, the more I realise Anca would’ve been a better choice for Romania.
This is HEAVEN!!!! :X:X::X
I don’t know if I’m the only one , but I think if there is a returning artist(s), so he/she must show something new. But here I can see the same what we saw in 2010
They play piano very well
They have nice vocals
But I can’t see what they are going to bring this year that couldn’t in 2010
Bravo to them! They always strike as very hardworking and extremely thoughtful of their followers (I guess they must have thousands back home).
Although I do not particularly like the song, however catchy it may be, and think it is dated and beneath them, bravo to them and keep singing wonderfully 🙂
Altought this is awesome we have to go with the previous version, #nomoreballads :)))?
Love them so much. PAula!!!!
I think it’s profesional and they respect their fans because they promote Miracle in so many diferent versions. How many ESC artists do? Bravo Paula& Ovi and good luck in Danemarca!
I really wish they sent this instead. So much better!
