Not long ago Hersiana Matmuja presented Europe with the revamped version of ‘Zemërimi i një nate’, which has been reborn as ‘One Night’s Anger’. The anger has obviously passed because Hersi is now happily traveling around Europe.

She is currently in Copenhagen—yes, the host city for Eurovsion 2014! She wanted to visit the beautiful Danish capital (and get in a little quality time with the Little Mermaid) before the madness of the contest sets in. She took a break from sightseeing to send a greeting to all of you out there in Eurovision land. She’s such a xhan (sweetheart).

Prior to the release of “One Night’s Anger” Albanian TV show Gjithçka Shqip broadcast a backstage video of Hersi filming the Albanian entry. And no, it wasn’t the wiwibloggs.com ‘One Night’s Anger‘ behind-the-scenes video. We are all sad about that. It’s actually the unplugged version of the song. I’m sure y’all will recognise the guy who announces Albania’s votes. . .

Here’s another backstage video. There’s a little surprise in this one from 2:17 onwards. Hersi sings live and goes acoustic!

For those of you who want to perfect the song ahead of your Eurovision karaoke night, here is the ‘One Night’s Anger‘ lyric video.

Hersi is currently cooking up a surprise for her readers on wiwibloggs.com, so be sure to check back in the coming days…

What do you think of Hersi’s greeting for her fans? Are you excited that she’s already in Copenhagen? Comment below as we’d love to know what y’all think!

Next May, after the contest, whatever the result will be, we will come to the same conclusion thousands of times: Hersi is an extraordinarily talented singer and, of course, a grateful person to all of us. Because of this, she deserves to win. She’s the best by far: in english, the song sounds delicate at the beginning, and this involves you immediately in a romantic atmosphere in which Hersi’s voice comes to be like the best divine gift.

I am sure now hersi’s live voice is better than studio version. I hope English will be better for her. I like Albanian version but ? know that she is one of the greatest singer in this contest.

I love Hersi, and I loved her song since it got selected back in December. She’s still one of my top favourites this year… I just regret she decided to switch from albanian to english! But a good song is a good song no matter the language. I’m hoping she makes it to the final and then gain a respectable place!

Such delicacy! Although the English version rushes through a bit, I hope they can make it sound good enough so as to be understood by the masses -the message is really nice. BTW, quite a few songs conveying “messages” this year, and most not cheesy at all thank goodness; that makes it interesting from a different point of view. Back to Hersi, her voice will surely sound enchanting, and the melody and arrangements, though now lacking a bit of the tense darkness of the original (boo hoo) are a treat. IMHO, Albania and Georgia have sent compositions way above the… Read more »
