On Friday evening Turkish Eurovision fans almost lost one of their icons.
CNN Turkey reports that Eurovision 2012 contestant Can Bonomo was involved in a serious car accident while traveling from Istanbul to Canakkale.
Near the town of Gelibolu the driver of the vehicle lost control. Xinhua news agency reports that the car hit the median and nearly ran off the cliff. Thankfully it stopped on the very edge of the abyss.
Seven people were reported to be traveling in the vehicle. Five of them, including Bonomo, suffered minor injuries.
At Gelibolu Hospital Bonomo made the following statement: “We were going to Canakkale to give a concert. Thanks to god, there is nothing important. Some friends have small wounds. But we are back from death’s door.”

Well I love Azerbaijan for its culture and its people Javid but I hate Turkey. Please be polite to Europe because if wasn’t Europe you wouldn’t enter Eurovision,Olympic games(since they started from Switzerland and GREECE respectively),etc.

@Dar One guy circa 1940 thought that one nation was better than the others and that situation ended with the World War 2.
