Italy: Emma Marrone Announces Live Album, Releases Resta Ancora Un Po

The Queen of Italy, Emma Marrone, hasn’t let the Eurovision injustice phase her. She’s already featured on popular Spanish musician David Bisbal’s single “Hombre de tu Vida” and now she’s released a new song of her own, her first solo offering since her Eurovision entry “La Mia Citta”. And while we say new, Emma’s actually been performing this song for two years with Italian singer Anotonio, however it was released as a single yesterday.

The song was written by Emma herself and is currently sitting pretty at #2 on the Italian iTunes chart. Emma’s “Marronators” may have witnessed her perform the ballad on her recent “Emma 3.0” tour or when she duetted with Antonio on stage last year. Antonio, who hails from “Amici di Maria De Filippi”, the same talent show in which Emma found fame, released the song over a year ago and his rendition racked up over 1,000,000 views on Youtube. Emma’s mellow new single isn’t the only announcement she’s made this week. Save the date: on November 11th she’s releasing a live album. “E Live” will be available in CD and DVD format, containing the track list from her July 7th concert at the Verona Arena. This includes the new single “Resta Ancora un Po'” and a collection of her biggest hits “Amami”, “L’amore non mi basta” and “Dimentico tutto”. We can’t wait!
