Later this morning NRK, Norway’s state broadcaster, will reveal the 10 acts who will compete in Melodi Grand Prix 2015 — its national selection for Eurovision. You can watch the press conference at 11:45 CET on NRK’s official website here.
What We Know So Far
NRK has already revealed some big changes to this year’s selection procedure. For the first time in absolute ages, the orchestra will return for the one-off show on March 14.
Over the past few weeks, the MGP Norway Twitter account has been rather quiet — only releasing snippets of information. They were probably busy, like, choosing the 10 finalists. But you can imagine the anticipation among fans. With a history of recent success including Alexander Rybak’s win in 2009, and following a respectable 8th place finish at the 2014 final in Denmark, we have high expectations for Oslo.
