The rumour mill has been spinning in Yerevan ever since Armenia confirmed its participation in Eurovision 2016 and revealed the gender of their representative. We have speculated that the lucky lady is Athena Manoukian and Dalita Avanessian, and have opened the floor to you in our official poll.
One of the most popular candidates for the job is Iveta Mukuchyan. The Armenian-German singer has been at the centre of speculation regarding the mystery woman’s identity from the very beginning. However, Armenia’s Head of Delegation denied these rumours just days before the teaser video was released.
Armenia’s sexiest woman has rebounded with the release of her new music video, “Simple Like A Flower”. The song showcases a different side of the diva – she’s ditched the blood and violence of “Target” and opted for flower tiaras and tattoos in her edgy new video.
The song is more subtle than her previous releases. She continues to ooze sex appeal while keeping it simple… like a flower.
The release of the song has fuelled speculation. Is the release of a new song just days before the big announcement a sign that Iveta will not go to Stockholm? Or is this a calculated attempt at whetting our appetites ahead of the big reveal? Either way, we will have to wait until October 13 to find out!
She added still more fuel to the fire recently when she held a live chat on social media.

She writes and composes some of her songs, like this one, so hopefully for Armenia she’ll just sing because her voice is lovely but her songwriting skills (lyrics mainly, the music is fine) leave a lot to be desired.

That babe that was dancing was hottie <3 😉 Well Iveta seems interesting as singer.. I do not think that it will be her that will represent Armenia in the #Globen Vision of Stockholm next year.. I was thinking about this singer to might possibly be Emmy…Yes her.. We will find out in 6 days that they will reveal the armenian representative..
