While in Tel Aviv for the Israel Calling Eurovision pre-party, our William again caught up with Moldova’s Lidia Isac, who was going to perform her song “Falling Stars” for the Israeli fans. He asked her about tattoos, her pre-stage routine, and her performance in Amsterdam.
The interview took place under the showers by the beach, and William showered Lidia with questions. Thus we found out that Lidia has a tattoo that spells “Carpe diem” (Seize the day), which is her life mantra, that she does get nervous but has a routine to calm her stage fright, and that she managed to get totally relaxed at Eurovision in Concert thanks to the positive energy of the public.
Lastly, Lidia Isac sang one of her non-Eurovision songs, “Be The One” by English-Albanian rising star Dua Lipa. Thanks for yet another entertaining interview, Lidia!
She is a really nice person and I love her song,”Falling stars”! In my opinion,it’s the most underrated song this year. It’s really catchy and enjoyable and I hope Moldova will qualify for the first time since 2013.Also,I think that her vocals have improved a lot! Good luck,Lidia!
Carpe Diem actually means “seize the day” but eh, close enough.
love her she’s so funny and sweet and her song is a banger 😀
Wow she is so bubbly! X938373874848474848 nicer than Douwe Bob or whatever he’s called.
