eurovision 2018 tickets sale november 30

Are you still waiting to get your hands on an elusive Eurovision 2018 ticket? Well, to quote Tamara Gachechiladze, keep the faith!

In between news of a  venue change for Euroclub, interval act plans and Portugal’s running order draw, Monday also saw the EBU reveal details of the last wave of Eurovision 2018 tickets.

Tickets will become available for purchase at 11.00 CET on Thursday 5 April. Tickets will be available for both semis and the grand final, including public rehearsals, jury shows and live broadcasts.

This will be the last chance for fans to buy tickets. Once they’re gone, they’re all gone.

EUROVISION 2018 TICKETS: WHERE TO BUY & HOW MUCH?

As with previous ticket sales, tickets can only be bought from Blueticket.pt — the official ticketing partner for Eurovision 2018.

It remains unclear as to what ticket types will be on sale.

However, during the first wave of sales back in November, grand final tickets were available at “various levels” from €120 and €200.

Veteran Eurovision fans will know that securing song contest tickets can be an onerous process. In an attempt to make life a little easier, the EBU has released the following advice:

BlueTicket operate a system called Queue-It, which is used to sell tickets for many of the biggest events in the world. It prevents the site from crashing if all users accessed the queue for the ticket selling platform simultaneously.

Blueticket operates a ticketing system that randomises those who arrive on the website before the release time into a queue, it then positions all those who join following release time behind them in the queue. Fans are welcome to join the website whenever they wish however those who log on hours ahead of release time have the same opportunity as those who join moments before.

For me it’s: 1. Israel (I love how weird and quirky it is) 2. Cyprus (can’t hide I love a good banger) 3. Finland (my live for Monsters is eternal) 4. Greece (3 minutes of magic) 5. Belgium (epic and charming) 6. Croatia (love those old school r&b vibes) 7. Australia (even though it sounds like a song I’ve heard before I like the positive message) 8. France (didn’t like it at first but it grew on me) 9. Estonia (love the vocals, the track is so-so) 10. Bulgaria (Johnny is there, I like it already) 11. Macedonia (like the… Read more »

I’ll just throw my predictions here for fun, based on studio versions. I don’t expect a killer song from Georgia.
Qualifiers SF1 (random order)
1. Albania 2. Czech Republic 3. Estonia 4. Austria 5. Israel 6. Armenia 7. Finland 8. Cyprus 9. Macedonia 10. Belgium

Qualifiers SF2 (random order)
1. Australia 2. Sweden 3. Romania 4. Poland 5. Ukraine 6. Netherlands, 7. Serbia 8. Russia 9. Denmark 10. Norway

I think this might be the first non-qualification for Azerbaijan. MAYBE!

My guess would be:
SF1:
Czechia, Estonia, Israel, Belgium, Armenia, Greece, Cyprus, Albania, Bulgaria, Finland/Austria

SF2:
Australia, Hungary, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Netherlands, Serbia/Georgia

Will the arena be full even at the semis?

Yeah, think so, Portuguese here. There was an interview today. Many many spanish people coming, specially.

Oh, good, thanks. I hate to see it not full to capacity. All these massive venues look good on TV for the final, I guess, but filling a giant arena three times over is never easy.
