Yesterday, Eurovision 2017 winner Salvador Sobral, did not mince his words when asked about his thoughts on Netta‘s song “Toy” and set the fandom ablaze with his blunt comments. Among the many thousands of reactions all over the social media to Salvador’s opinion that the Israeli song was “horrible” came Netta’s comment, in the shape of a Twitter reply late last night.
Sending only love to Salvador, and to all artists of all genres ?? pic.twitter.com/mcGHpIXTNz
— Netta Barzilai (@NettaBarzilai) May 9, 2018
Israeli singer Netta — who is currently the third favourite to win Eurovision 2018 with “Toy” — replied to wiwibloggs’ tweet with a simple but powerful message.
The loop artist wrote that she was “Sending only love to Salvador, and to all artists of all genres”. The tweet extended an olive branch to the Portuguese singer and was a sign that she did not take his harsh words to heart.
Moreover, the same message is a veiled comment on the fact that music comes in different forms and that all artists are worthy of respect for their artistry. Also interestingly, Netta chose to reply with a photo of her and the current odds-on favourite to win the contest, Eleni Foureira from Cyprus, whose song “Fuego” is bringing the fireworks to Portugal despite Salvador Sobral’s hope that his win would put an end to what he called “fast food, disposable music”.
Fans react to Salvador Sobral’s comments about Netta’s song
Netta’s “only love” reaction was a far cry from the comments of many Eurovision fans, who opinion-shamed Salvador Sobral for his criticism of “Toy”. Many of our readers in particular found the Portuguese singer’s words unacceptable for a Eurovision winner. For instance, wiwibloggs reader jPod says, “I think it’s time Salvador got off his high horse and showed some respect to those who worked really hard to be in this contest. Yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but he has come off as rude and disrespectful.”
Some however defended Salvador Sobral for expressing his blunt opinion about a song that did not match his musical taste. “Salvador only replied to a provocative question that was already planned knowing he would give a very harsh but honest opinion on it. We all know that these songs like Toy and Fuego are the type of music he despises the most. Why on earth would be put a smile on his face and praise them knowing this is not music to his ears,” wiwibloggs reader Charles said.
Jacques Houdek: “Shame on you, Salvador Sobral!”
But it was not just Eurovision fans who reacted strongly to Salvador Sobral’s comments. Last year’s Croatian entrant Jacques Houdek was quick to criticise and even attack the Eurovision winner openly, in a lengthy post on Facebook.
Just like Salvador Sobral, Jacques Houdek did not mince his words. While defending Netta, he admonished Salvador for not being a gentleman, going as far as to call him “rude” “a poser”, “fake”, “a very small person”, and demanding an apology in the name of the Eurovision contestants.
The Croatian singer also attacked Salvador Sobral for participating in the contest despite being sick and for not attending last year’s rehearsals. “You may have tricked the entire Europe, but you did not fool me,” he added, highlighting the fact that last year’s winner was a very divisive figure in the contest not just among Eurovision fans, but also among the artists themselves.
There is no suggestion that Salvador’s medical condition was exaggerated for Eurovision. Earlier this year, Salvador successfully underwent a life-saving heart transplant operation and is happily recovering.
What do you think about Netta’s reply? And what do you make of Jacques Houdek’s angry reaction to Salvador Sobral’s comments? Sound off in the comment section below!
in the end, thanks for the hype guys 🙂
netta won by a landslide from the public vote.
how was the fake smile, salvador? 😀
He wanted to get rid of the burden of being a winner of ESC, and he’s the winner with most scoring points. So i’d say he’s fine.
Also WIWIBLOGGS I heard stupid Sobral’s interview – he talked about some other contries besides Israel!! but you chose to write ISRAEL on the front.. right???
Actually, no, he didn’t mention any other countries, if by that you mean commenting their 2018 entry on ESC. He specifically said he only listened to the songs of Portugal and Israel (and this, only because Youtube suggested it to him — and, from his reaction, I’d say he didn’t listen for more than a few seconds).
William!!! Why giving Rubira and Sobral a platforn and at the same time not publish Netta’s OGAE’s award? ESCKAZ published it yesterday!!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5Sk1ZMox54
OK, so now, for the first time, I watched Netta’s official video. Much better than the live performance (which I still find quite bad). It’s still that WTF entry, but after a while you get in to in.
To quote Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa, “Primeiro estranha-se, depois entranha-se”. (Not sure Google Translate will perform well with this…)
Did that Croatian singer really said that ?
That someone who received a heart transplant was faking his health condition ?
And that the exception (for missing first rehearsals) should not have been awarded ?
Come on…
Find him also a new heart. He needs it.
No, he actually didn
t. He said it was terrible that Sobral was sick (there
s no arguing about that) but he added that if you have such a serious health condition (as Sobral did) you simply don`t undertake such a challenging project as the ESC.He implied that he was faking, him being humble and the fact that he had an illness. He literally said he wasnt what people thought sobral was. So yes, he kind of said he was faking, in a way. And the fact that he thought he shouldnt compete, despite KNOWING NOTHING about his health condition. says it all. he’s a sore loser who got butthurt by his speech.
Wiwiblogs is no funny anymore. Creating and exploring these pseudo dramas is very ugly, tabloid like. Only interested in creating bad mood. Leaving this site and FB page.
ALSO.. Why giving him a platforn and at the same time not publish Netta’s OGAE’s award?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5Sk1ZMox54
It’s not about Toy being bad or good. It was just the random song that came up on Salvador’s autoplay. It could’ve been any other ESC song, and if he is right saying that ‘nothing changed’ then most of them would fall under ‘horrible/fast food/fluffy pop’ category.
So for the sake of argument, replace Israel with Cyprus, Ireland, or your favorite this year.
Common guys , Neta is a joke . A good comedian , a funny girl but not a classic Eurovision artist. In fact she has nothing to do with the Eurovision Contest ‘s singers at all.
If you want her change Eurovision into a Newrovision. Than bring all the crazy to sing for you.
Salvador is acting like a precocious child. He knows very well what Eurovision is like. He also complained about becoming a celebrity after his win.
He had a nice enchanting song but it was just an act. He isn’t very nice inside but someone insecure who feels the need to put down other hardworking artists.
In the end Salvador will fade into obscurity possibly spending the rest of his life cashing in on his win touring tiny little jazz festivals whereas many artists whom he despises will achieve success he can only dream of.
Salvador your fifteen minutes are up!
“spending the rest of his life cashing in on his win touring tiny little jazz festivals” — you’re “cursing” him with every jazz player’s dream. 😀
in simple terms..he is a douchebag
Nope. He’s the most honest and genuine person that was in the contest. And the fact that someone so classy and different like him is the winner with most points will haunt you forever. Because you cant accept the fact that what he said was true. If it wasnt, none of you would still be talking about it. He’s a legend.
It was not an act. He was GENUINE from the start, unlike all the other artists who claim to be nice but are nothing but fake people. Look at them calling out sobral only after he won. Sore losers, just like some eurofans. Jac ques, Alex, Robin, act like precocious kids who got triggered by his speech. If you’re that good, why did you get offended? He hit a nerve. And salvador will NEVER fade into obscurity. You can already tell, because EVERYONE keeps mentioning him. On twitter, on fb, here…everywhere. Even after the show was over, even after netta.… Read more »
If people are so sure of this or that song’s value and of Salvador’s ignorance and stupidity, and that he’s boring, I don’t understand why those people even care about Salvador’s opinion…
Wiwiblogs is no funny anymore. Creating and exploring these pseudo dramas is very ugly, tabloid like. Leaving this site and FB page. EscUnited is much better.
Netta is experimenting with music, trying to come with something new, fresh and young.
Salvador represents the more “classic” style but in fact it is anachronistic and boring.
It’s not. It’s actually the opposite. Nettas music doesnt represent anything new, she’s copying what’s done in Asia, specially k-pop. She said so herself. Netta was cocky, saying that she represents 2018. She certainly dont represent me or my view on 2018.
Sobral is fresh, young, different. He mixes a lot of different genres like jazz, classic music…but it’s way too complex for a fast food brain like yours to understand.
YESTERDAY ON THE SECOND SEMIFINAL THEY PLAYED MANY TIMES SALVADOR SOBRAL AND ALL YOU COULD HEAR WAS THR APLAUSE FROM THE EUROFANS.
DONT BE RIDICULUS TIME. TO END WITH THIS EURODRAMA
Yes its true I was there.
:))
ON POINT comments from Jacques Houdek. Not showing up for rehearses is the most disrespectful thing he could have done. Health issues? DONT PARTICIPATE. Not showing up for rehearsals send out a patronizing message to other contestants and fans. His song was not even good in my opinion. Definitely not a winner in my book, and his characters adds to me disliking him. I am so sad wiwibloggs fell for his BS last year, and kept praising him for no apparent reason. Such a huge disappointment. I hope he ends up being remembered as the most hated eurovision winner of… Read more »
The most disrespectful thing a performer can do is screw his/her performance. If he had missed the rehearsals and then messed up his live act, then you could say he shouldn’t have missed the rehearsals. But his performance was spot on (literally a winning performance) even without the first few rehearsals, so clearly missing them was nothing important.
So he underwent a hearth transplant procedure this year, a last line of treatment for someone who has heart disease, perhaps one of the most risky surgeries ever designed to save the life of someone, if that is not enough to convince you that he was not in shape for doing 2 rehearsals for more than 2 hours, then you and Jacques are talking nonsense. This is what happens when your cheap song doesn’t win. Please stop arguing over something you have no idea
RIDICULOUS COMMENTS from YOU. Jacques Houdek is here again… Just stop pretending. You’re a ridiculous clown whos still triggered about the fact that a guy with classy music won and sent you REAL MESSAGE. He told you the truth and what EVERY non-eurofan thinks about the contest and why so many talented, serious, or famous musicians dont wanna take part in it. Move on. You’re pathetic. He has the MOST points of an eurovision winner. That’s what hurts you innit? Heck, he’s mentioned all the time, it’s like HE REALLY affected the eurofans and i love it. He gave it… Read more »
He was a sore winner last year but now it’s devolved to being completely pathetic.
No. What’s pathetic is that this guy cant give an opinion to a local newspaper, without having the gossip websites translate and take it out of conext just to get a few clicks. What’s pathetic is how yall still mention and whine about him in 2018. He’s honest and unapologetic, something yall and our world arent used to. Not politically correct people. But dont worry, next year you will have that fake sympathy, fake smiles, fake opinions that the contestants love to show you, just to get votes and not be hated on. We have sore people, and those are… Read more »
His arrongancy is unbearable. I didn’t like his song. He doesn’t like Eurovisión, but he participated. Arrongancy + Hypocrisy. To tell the truth, I don’t like him as a person either.
Once again, you stupid troll. He doesnt hate eurovision, he loves MANY ESC songs, mostly classic ones i guess. He made a criticism against the music industry and yeah, kinda towards ESC because the show has turned into a circus. People care about the stage more than the song, and EUROVISION should be about music. He participated in Eurovision for his sister. He was not expecting to win the national final, she asked him to sing her song. That’s what hurts you. but can you blame him? half of the world mocks eurovision for a reason, it has become a… Read more »
Netta’s reply is so grateful. Picture of her and Eleni with this caption hits Salvador’s face directly.
He should come out of his own bubble.
I wish she or Eleni, or else whom Salvador called doing the fast food music, won the competition in Lisbon in front of him!
Netta=class
Salvador=classless
Her reply was not graceful, it was a marketing strategy that worked. People felt sorry for her and gave her votes. She and her team were smart, and yall fell for it. You should thank sobral in a way.
Also, not sure how that’s supposed to hit him, because sobral doesnt use social media. So, kinda pointless to say that.
The world is so easy to trick. People are so fake and everyone believes it. Then you have a guy whos genuine 100% and bluntly speaks his mind, but he’s the fake one. Oh the irony.
I don’t get why Salvador is acting like this (and it’s not the first time he has come across as “holier-than-thou”), I LOVE his song, voted for it several times last year, but it literally sounds like any Disney- or old-timey love song?
Did Salvador get Simon Cowell’s heart when he got that transplant? Seems to be working fine then! 😀
if ur in lisbon and attend salvegetable’s performance boo him
Didnt work. Everyone loves him. You’re a miserable person. Nice try though.
Big deal!! Netta use “stupid boy” on her song, what schould we wainting for? Anyway, its just an opinion like so many others. I dont like “Toy” song. Now who wonna blame me?
I’d explain the difference to you but I think you’re too stupid yourself to even understand it
To understand what? That you like “Toy”? Have some one read the enterview? Its just an Opinion! She promote shes Song the same way Salvador do, maybe she have the same opinion about Salvador song! Who khows?
There are ways to express opinions. Salvador’s way is to make others feel worthless. This is exactly what Netta would not do, because she repeatedly promotes embracing differences.
What in god’s name are you trying to say?
There is no God here just persons.
It’s an expression. Thanks for the non-answer though, really cleared things up.
Nice explanation. All the best BEFAN
For me our Netta already won. I love many songs in the competition including Cyprus, Hungary, Denmark, France, Lithuania, Italy, Germany Albania to mention a few and they all could be great winners. Netta did what no artist did. Few months ago no one in Israel knew who she was and now hundreds of millions know and love her. With over 45,000,000 views to her video she inspired millions of heavy girls to be and love who they are and for that only she is my winner no matter who will actually wins. I adore you Netta!
Well said 🙂
Theres the Swedish singer talking trash about the rest of the contestants, and everybody says Salvador Sobral is the arrogant of the century.
Let me laugh. So many ignorants posting patetic opinions here.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tyho3LtsCco
who will win?
israel with the fat & bauty singer or Cyprus with the thin and bauty singer ?
FAT IN YOUR ASS IDIOT!!!
So you’ve never judged a song? That’s all Salvador did.
He did not comment on Cyprus because he had not heard it. Salvador had only heard Portugal’s & Israel’s songs. I can’t imagine he works like Fuego either but that’s OK. It’s his opinion.
If anyone saw interviews with Salvador, they would know he speaks openly & honestly. Why should he hide his opinion of “Toy”? No one should be surprised at his reaction to the fast food music Israel is serving this year, with fireworks on the side. He did not disrespect Netta, just the song.
If you want an example of disrespect, look at the vile things Jacques Houdek wrote. What a hypocrite!
Let’s leave his miserable choice of words aside for a moment (there are dignified ways to say you don’t like a song but he’s so smug and full of himself he ‘honestly’ chose offensive words). He said he was happy he didn’t have to listen to the songs this year. Coming from a previous ESC contestant (winner or not), isn’t it just plain condescending and ungrateful?
BTW, I totally agree that Houdek shouldn’t have mentioned the rehearsals/health issues, that was below the belt and irrelevant.
SOBRAL dont have to be rude…
He think he is best but he is nothing speical really.
Israels song is not a fast food..its a song with smart words and important massage..more important than the massage of sobral..about “fast food”
ISRAELI PRIDE 🙂
life has thought Netta to be tollerant.. she has passed more horrible things during her life so Salvador’s reaction to her song means really nothing to her… it’s a lovable, optimistic girl and her answer is according to her personality
Salvador answered a specific question from a journalist and expressed an opinion about a song and now he is suffering all kind of personal insults. I’m done with wiwiwblogs and this way of exploiting and making this pseudo drama! Shame on you all!
Amy shame on you difending disgusting Sobral!!
True! people have satanized personal opinions when the answers are different as what they want to hear. Salvador is a true hero and winner, a true music professional and Europe voted for him to be that, but once in a while people can have bad taste (like all those who like the Israel entry) and it’s valid too. Not everyone can be perfect.
This is the publicity that Netta needed after a week in which it was all about Cyprus. So if Netta wins Salvador will probably wished he had not answered the question.
Not about answering the question, more about answering it like the prick that he is. But that’s nothing new, we knew all this already after his press conference last year, he just proved it wasn’t a slip of tongue at the heat of the moment
YESTERDAY ON THE SECOND SEMIFINAL THEY PLAYED MANY TIMES SALVADOR SOBRAL AND ALL YOU COULD HEAR WAS THR APLAUSE FROM THE EUROFANS.
DONT BE RIDICULUS TIME. TO END WITH THIS EURODRAMA
Netta = all class.
Salvador = all ass.
Salvador comes across to me as someone from wealth, I’m not making less of his struggles but when someone has the financial security to back them up it is easy to pass judgement. Music is about joy, not about substance, knowing key signatures or whatever else the “selected” individuals want to pretend to make it about.
Well deserved respond to Salvador, Netta is basically saying I don’t give a damn I am too busy to bring myself down to Salvador level, I love you Salvador for bringing attention to me and my song while bringing yourself down cheers mate.
Well done Netta for milking this for sympathy votes. Desparate times!
Shut up Idiot..stop write lies…Netta never did a big deal of it..
Keep envy of qween Netta.
By the way you have a ugly face…if i was you i would remove this picture.
ESC addict… Netta did not milk this she simply ly responded with class… big difference
I totally agree with Jacques! Salvador is simply rude and disrespectful! If he don’t like Eurovision so much he shouldn’t have competed in it. This behaviour is unacceptable for the winner. He needs to understand that his type of music isn’t the only good music. Salvador needs to stop dragging Eurovision.
Salvador said the song is terrible, not Netta. That is not disrespectful. Do you have opinions on songs?
Jacques is a hypocrite for being disrespectful of Salvador.
You ugly like Salvador..you bouth look like monkeys
Except it is disrespectful as he is last year’s winner and host. It wasn’t enough that he insulted last year’s artists when he won, but now as host he’s insulting the new contestants (and insulting someone’s song is literally the same thing as insulting them) and the contest itself. It is entirely unbecoming of a winner. Sure, he’s entitled to his opinion but he should also know when to hold his tongue when his position doesn’t allow for comments like this.
YESSSS shoutout to jacques for telling it like it is. Salvador got up on a stage with a trophy in his hand and basically spat on his competitors saying they’re not worthy just because his view of music isn’t the same as most people. it’s time to stand up against the hate and show respect and love to all people and music styles- go netta <3
Stand up against the hate & disprespect from Jacques. Shame on you, Jacques.
JACQUES IS Amazing and i agree with every word he wrote.
I watched part of Netta’s press conference (recorded before Salvador’s interview was published) and I must say I found her very thoughtful. Clearly an intelligent woman with a social message.
That said, I still find her song ugly, in aesthetic terms (i.e., not taking the message in consideration). My opinion of her is more or less the one I have on, say, Pussy Riot: I totally back them in terms of the message they’re conveying, but the aesthetic accomplishment is just not there (for me).
Nettas song is beautiful..you are ugly!
Hey hey hey. No need to call someone ugly for expressing an opinion that you disagree with.
The same applies with what Salvador said. He answered a specific question from a journalist and expressed an opinion about a song and now he is suffering all kind of personal insults. Shame on you all. I’m Done with wiwiwblogs and this way of exploiting and making this pseudo drama!
@Bogdan Honciuc first comment to all of your readers here who make fun of Netta and doing her Body Shaiming..theres lots of worst comment here racists and antisemetic so first take care of those please.
A good example of disrespect. Shame on you, LLilah.
You should be ashamed of defending this awful Salvador!
THAT HEART TRANSPLATATION FAILED BAD TIME I THINK
Idk if there’s anyone in the same track of mind as mine, but I feel that neither Cyprus nor Israel will win this year. Yes, they are currently the hot favorites to win, but it’s just my feeling that these two will somehow be only in top 10. I think one another country will surprise us this year to win the whole thing (some people are betting on Ireland and Lithuania to win as their odds are moving up, but I still don’t buy it that they are going to do so).
I agree, i feel like something like Lithuania, Italy, Hungary or Germany could suprise this year
My God, so much drama Netta….
Salvador never said he hates you.
He just dont like your song.
What a drama queen….
She never said that he hated her…
DRAMA QUEEN? She literally said “Sending only love to Salvador, and to all artists of all genres”. HE is a queen, a selfish one indeed
And wheres the problem if Salvador say he don´t like her song….
Do you know the meaning of democracy and freedom of speech?
And where’s the alleged drama from Netta you complain about?
So what? I was just pointing out that in her words there was no trace of what you call a “drama queen”. It doesn’t have anything to do with democracy or freedom of speech; the fact that you resort to this even makes it more obvious that you have no argument.
Netta was fine on her response. She never accused Salvador of a personal attack (as many wiwi commentators have). I don’t see a drama queen in her.
Cheers to you! exactly, eveybody takes all personal nowadays.
1st – I was waiting for an apology from the wiwibloggs for having published a post that it’s fabricated;
2nd – not only do they not correct the evil they are doing, but still throw more gas into the fire
3rd – wiwibloggs highlight the opinion of the Jacques, BUT don’t say that HE IS A LIAR… We have videos on youtube that prove that Salvador was present in the rehearsals… Maybe Jacques don’t saw him, cause was busy on the playground…
Yes, Salvador did not miss ALL rehearsals, he missed SOME rehearsals (the earlier ones). In fact, his grand final dress rehearsal is, and probably will be for decades if not for ever, the best rehearsal in the history of ESC: for other artists, rehearsals are just a means (practice) to an end (not failing during the real deal, the live show); Salvador made his rehearsal an art piece of its own. But back to Houdek: that guy seems to not realise the absurdity of his argument! Rehearsing IS an advantage, so he’s “accusing” Salvador of fighting an uphill battle and… Read more »
I hope Salvador stays away from the contest on Saturday. Partly because it seems likely that he’ll have to hand over his trophy to a performer of one of his dreaded “firework” songs. That won’t be much fun for him. Second, he’s certain to get booed by Netta’s supporters at least. We know they’ll be there in force from the inflatable hammer which did for Sennek.
For the people saying he is allowed to criticize her song: ABSOLUTELY
BUT
He did it in an awful way.
AND
He said he was happy he doesn’t have to listen to any songs this year. That is spitting in the face of everyone participating and watching Eurovision. I don’t understand how anyone who loves the competition can approve of his arrogant attitude about it all.
What about the disrespectful comments of the Swedish singer made about other contestants this year? Why did Wiwiblogs remove the video? Or is it easier to create a polemic using out of the context words used by Salvador?
So someone else also being an a**shole makes Salvador ok? Nope.
seems like nobody is allowed to critizise israel song. so pathetic. he just expressed what many people think about this very bad song/performance and thats it.
He is just afraid he’d not be able to survive the beat, that’s all
And now Jacques Houdek has expressed what many people have been thinking about Salvador since he won.
This is not just “anyone” – this is the winner of Eurovision who will be handing the award on Saturday. He should have refused to comment until after the competition. His opinion matters and he should have be mindful of that.
He should not criticize any song in that manner… has nothing to do with Israel… it has to do with respecting the institution which gave you a prize
There is nothing wrong in criticizing and sharing opinions….
It gets wrong, when you win by votes from Eurovision lovers, and then you slap them by saying that what they like in this contest is trash. That’s wrong attitude. Not criticizing. The attitude! Don’t you all get it?!
Ok, this shows that Doron’s song doesn’t fit ?% on her;
1. It’s a boy
2. He is criticising her
Please choose wiser next time!!!
A bad behaved, sneaky and an arrogant creature is you, Salvador Sobral. I still remember what you did last year.
Having a sick heart why did you participate in the Eurovision last year? You took advantage of your healt conditionls. It was obvious, I immediately felt that you are not honest and humble.
Bulgaria had to win, not a snob like you.
Salvador might have been rude for saying his opinion about 1 song,
but what you said right now is 100 times worse.
You just attacked his health. Salvador had heart transplant, for god sake, he could have died. I am sure he would have rather had a healthy heart than win eurovision.
One day when you get ill, maybe you will understand and regret what you just said.
exactly
I have already reported his page to FB for being abusive and I think we all should.
He participated in Eurovision because he won the national selection — a winning he never thought it would happen in the first place. He took advantage of his health?! When people started talking about his health issues, they downplayed it saying he was just recovering from a hernia surgery! He won because he blew fresh air in the competition, not being one of the handful of ESC stereotypes . And you say he shouldn’t have won because he is a snob? Is ESC a singing competition or a humility competition? Are they supposed to sing or audition to become Franciscan… Read more »
Jacques never said his disease is fake…he said that the way he acted, especially while performing is fake cause he thinks that he tried to appear nice and lovable but is not…
What do you mean, “the way he acted, especially while performing is fake”?!
Of course it is fake: that’s called performance; he’s embodying a man desperately in love.
That’s what singers (and actors) are supposed to do: make their performances believable. (Or do you think Ralph Fiennes was really a Nazi death camp commandant?…)
Netta’s response is very classy.
Oh common, nuff with this drama. We all need a picture of Netta and Salvador hugging and making up. Wiwibloggs please make it happen . Good luck to everyone tonight!
I’m sure the heart condition is real but I don’t think it’s what actually prevented him doing all the rehearsals and press events. He sees himself as above all that.
Either Toy or Fuego would be very worth winners.
Question is would he do the honourable thing and hand them the trophy if they did?
You’re clearly not a doctor… or a person that reads a lot. His heart condition caused severe fluid retention, making his belly swell, which increases the heart insufficiency, which increases fluid retention, and so on… (If, knowing that, you watch his videos from last year, you’ll see in many of them his belly protrudes immensely; he tried to disguise that with oversized jackets.) The way to control and reduce fluid retention is, from time to time, to plug him to a machine that helps the failing heart. That’s why he missed the first week of rehearsals: to stay as fit… Read more »
I dont know why people get mad over that , the thing is , winners can do whatever they want and say whatever they please , you may not like it , you may be mad about it , but thats how it goes. The fact is that you all voted for him and gaved him that power , you really loved him “beyond his bones ” so deal with it 🙂
