Time: 20:00 CET to 21:30 CET

The fourth heat will see seven acts perform. As always, the semi-final results will be determined solely by the viewing public through a mixture of app and phone votes. There will be a short break in the vote at which point the two lowest acts will be eliminated. Voting will open once more, after which four entries will remain — the top two songs will go direct to the final while the next two will progress to the andra chansen round.

The running order is:

  1. Tess Merkel “Good Life”
  2. Lovad “Allting är precis likadant”
  3. Efraim Leo “Best of Me”
  4. The Mamas “In the Middle”
  5. Sannex “All Inclusive”
  6. Clara Klingenström “Behöver inte dig idag”
  7. Eric Saade “Every Minute”

Christer Björkman is hosting all six episodes of Melfest 2021. He will be joined by a selection of different co-hosts throughout the series. Comedian Per Andersson and singer Pernilla Wahlgren join him for week four.

Looking forward to see the Mamas performing tomorrow! But since I follow the Melfest, since 5 years it’s the first time I’m not excited for the AC the next week, I always had one or two favourites to support and I wanted so much them to go in final, but this year nobody, no excitement for this. And I wanted to know if somebody from AC has already managed to win the Melfest ? If not what the best place ever in final for somebody who came from AC? However excited for the final already and for the battle royale… Read more »

Robin Stjernberg won Melfest in 2013 after first being relocated to AC after the semi. Usually AC acts finish 7th-12th in the finals, but each time, some of the surpass some DTF acts.

Thank you Colin! Interesting, then it’s still possible to win coming from AC but it’s very very hard and very very rare if you tell me that the average place they got is 7th-12th and if it’s happened only once in the Melfest History.
2013 is not one of the best year for Sweden in eurovision now I see it’s maybe because of that, the winning act coming from AC.

Also in 2009 Caroline av Uglass came second after being in AC. The same goes for Felix Sandmann in 2018.

Yeah of course I’ve forgotten this one thank you! In my mind Felix went DTF, but this 2nd place coming from AC remains an exception.

These articles about Sweden usually have that “X” person always bringing biassed views on these songs and singers, then the same person always says how right they are about everything and if they get downvoted you’re a swedish hater… “:D”
