Hu-Hu-Hu-HURRICANE!
They’re the popular girl group who represented Serbia at Eurovision this year, bringing the country their best result since 2015. And now Hurricane are whipping up another storm. With summer heating up and lockdowns being eased across Europe, the girls are ready to start the party. Their new song “Do neba” just landed and our girls are already making the most of the beach.
“Do neba” (“To heaven”) is another Serbian-language pop song. But instead of the intense electronic party action of “Hasta la vista” and “Loco Loco”, their newest is much more relaxed. The deep bass lines and synths have been replaced with chill guitars and a saxophone. But of course, the passion and the energy is still there, and we love this new look from Sanja, Ivana and Ksenija.
Hurricane – “Do neba”
The song’s music video reflects a shift in mood as well. Instead of the lavish studios with balloons and disco balls, the girls took a trip to Zanzibar and filmed on the beaches and in a boat. They swapped the stilettos for sandals and looked fabulous in looser-fitting beach wear. It feels like a relaxed beach day after the all-night parties of their earlier work, and we love that vibe. Naturally, the earrings remain, and they are stunning in the sunlight!
Lyrically, “Do neba” is a simple song about the extent of love and the difficulty of being away from your lover. The girls ask questions like “can he do it without you”, which brings the answer “yes, but he hides his sadness”. They also ask “Do we boil? Only love knows that”, which suggests that they don’t know how deep the relationship is. One thing they know for sure is that “I love you to heaven”.
Hurricane after Eurovision 2021
Hurricane’s success in Rotterdam has caused waves in their native Serbia.
At the contest itself, they were surprised by 2007 winner Marija Šerifović. They subsequently posted a thank you to their fans on Instagram, which also got a response from Croatian representative Albina.

The girls later featured on the cover of the magazine Bazar Politika, where they were heralded as having “conquered Europe with their style, energy and talent”.
After all the action, Hurricane decided to take a holiday to Zanzibar. Apart from looking gorgeous on the beach for their new music video, they also met some local children. Sanja, Ivana and Ksenija sure have had an amazing year and we hope it doesn’t slow down. One, two, girls, Come on!

Good for the eyes but bad for the ears…This kind of trash music can only pass in the Balkans and Balkan/Turkish diaspora…
Great masturbation material. I would like to have hard sex with Sanja
I wished that they sent something more like this compared to loco loco as much as a bop as loco loco is when first heard it we knew it would not get that much support from the juries this in the other hand I can see getting support from the juries as well
bop after bop after bop, they’re unstoppable.
They are great as always.. I still can’t get over the fact that Moldova got more points than Serbia in GF…
I still get over that they actually have fans. All I can see are three plastic women pouting those ridiculous lips and flashing their cleavage but then that’s what passes for talent these days.
Just stop, ok? Ivana may have done some surgeries and I think Sanja did something with her lips (and that’s ok, it’s their body after all) but Ksenija is completely pure and beautiful as heck
Do you not understand that on a comment section like this we are entitled to voice our own opinions. You can’t tell someone to stop because you don’t agree with them.
They look like cheap wh**es. END OF!!!
@William Lee Adams If you can, ban this person from this web site! It’s sad how some people misinterpret and misuse the freedom of speech for such primitive comments.
“Primitive” Don’t make me laugh. Anyone who doesn’t gush with positivity towards EVERYTHING on this site gets down voted, bunch of snowflakes! I critisise three talentless women who behave like hookers (they served us up 3 minutes of noise at ESC) and you say I should be banned. You need to grow a pair my friend. Ban me if you want, someone else with a bit of objectivity will take my place.
@William Lee Adams
So? They are more covered up than many of the top pop stars today, and those other pop stars, like Ariana Grande, for instance, have more crude and blatantly sexual songs.
Many Eurovision participants, past and present, have also dressed more provocatively – do you condemn them?
Your 100% correct jojo, there are lots and lots of performers who use sex to sell their acts but we are talking about ESC here and I’m not going to go off on a tangent.Their performance on ESC was just cheap and trashy and makes it difficult for women to be taken for anything more than sex objects, the sad thing is that many of these acts fan bases are girls and young women who think behaving like his gets them the attention that they crave.
……….And while I’m on the topic Hurricane weren’t the only act in this years contest who deserve a mention, Cyprus and Azerbaijan also left a lot to be desired. Girls in particular are being sexualised at far too young an age and acts like this aren’t helping. It’s something EVERYONE should be concerned about, I’m not interested in being Mr Popular around here, I’m just highlighting a serious issue but hey you people keep down voting me if it makes you feel all superior and you want to avoid the real issues.
Tadhig what is the colour of your Burqa?
I like their new song “Do Neba ” much more than the 2 Eurovision songs from 2020 and 2021
such a nice summery song, very chill but still makes you wanna dance.
Reminds me of summer nights. Go girls!
