Loreen takes an early lead in the 2023 OGAE Poll
Members of the OGAE fan clubs across Europe and the globe have been busy voting for their favourites in this year’s contest. The results are now gradually being revealed, one club at a time. Four countries have so far voted — France, Slovenia, Cyprus and Spain — and all four of them have awarded Loreen with their 12 points. Finland’s Käärijä and Norway’s Alessandra follow in second and third place on the overall ranking for the time being. (Jonathan)

Gustaph films Belgium’s Eurovision postcard
Strike a pose. Belgium’s Gustaph is up next to share his Eurovision postcard shoot, and he’s doing it in style. On site at Brussels’ Atomium sculpture, Gustaph worked the camera in a trio of looks — a golden tracksuit, an orange boilersuit, and an ensemble piece with gold peplum sleeves and black bomber.
Because of You, Gustaph, we're in Belgium! ??

Australian rocker Simone Dow — guitarist in Voyager — is shredding migraine myths as she opens up about her Chronic Migraine condition. Speaking to Australian Associated Press about the time she once thought about quitting the band after an intense episode on a recent tour, Simone now wants to smash the stigma and help people who experience migraines get the help they need. Simone said: “I really hope we’re going to see a lot more access for medical cannabis for people with chronic pain issues because it has literally changed my life”.

You know it’s gonna be a tough year for Greece the moment you see OGAE Cyprus giving them just one point.
Does Loreen speak Darija or Tamazight? I would love to hear her sing a song in either of these languages.
Also, we’re had a lot of diaspora Moroccans participate in Eurovision lately (Loreen, La Zarra, Bilal Hassani, Basim). Anyone else I’m missing? Perhaps they should all try to convince Morocco to come back to the contest.
Are they conducting a new poll or just copy-pasting the 2012 edition? I mean, why bother wir a new poll if the Swedish song is the same as in 2012?!
It’s not.
Luve Mika
The Polish people are funny, yes, I understand their TV company maybe cheated, but the second place song “Jann-Gladiator” was quite horribol and terribol.
But ofcourse its bad from political view, very bad dictature decision
(or maybe Blanka won with fair play/most points, unlikely)
And 2 points for Spain and 10 for Belgium. Shows what ogae truly know about talent
All the glazed eyed queen screamers from 10 years ago voting with their hearts not for the song
Yawn….
Wishing Simone well with her health problems! She’s an amazing musician! <33
Mika is trolling because he never liked nor he will ever like Eurovision, maybe just last year’s paycheck
He’s just trying to stay relevant, or at least so in a niche
They way some people talk on this website you would think they hate Eurovision too. Never happy always hating. Mika’s top 10 isn’t too bad. A glimpse of what the real people might actually like on the night.
Queen Loreen <3
Ogae poll results time means it’s the time of the year where the eurofans complain everywhere and take this poll (made by only other eurofans) too seriously, it’s an annual tradition…
*when the eurofans complain
now we don’t need to complain, with Loreen’s ethnic bop getting all the praise and love she totally deserves, as the only A-Lister artist this year among all other amateurs
Marco Mengoni an amateur? Lmao
You sure you know the meaning of A-lister?
No one really complains. It is part of the SC experience as well.
And the winner of OGAE usually does well in the contest so it can be worth to check it out..
And usually doesn’t win the contest after…that
Sometimes they do..
In an interview with DELFI, Monika Linkyte was asked about other participants and she said that she keeps friendly vibes with Blanca Paloma, Joker Out, Sudden Lights, Alika and others. Specifically, when she was asked about the current top favourites by the bookmakers, Kaarija and Loreen, she said she was pleasantly surprised Kaarija is so nice and humble while staying at the top of favourites. At first she ignored the part about Loreen but when Monika was asked again how she feels about Loreen, she gave a hint Loreen is not a very kind human to speak with in person… Read more »
Here we go again with the Loreen bashing. You know some people just have difficulties to interact with other people not because they think they’re too good for them but just because it’s in their nature… I’m not saying it’s the case with Loreen but you can’t say she’s too pretentious, we don’t know anything about her.
Personnally, I will vote for the performanceS that I prefer and Loreen will certainly be among them.
no, you will just vote for Loreen, so ethnic, her tattoo bop
The problem with today’s society is the fact that people lost the ability to tolerate different opinions. Based on the information I have, I stand by my choice to not support Loreen merely on her plastic song and a terrible attitude. What’s wrong with that? Why the marshmallow generation always has to force other people to think the one and only “right” way? You love Loreen? That’s totally fine by me. You can spread your love about her there and there. Why cannot I do the same in the opppsite way if I ain’t feeling it? You guys need to… Read more »
I do not know which generation you were referring to as marshmallow generation, but I would say from my experience older generations are much less accepting and understanding of different opinions on various topics.
Stating that someone had a terrible attitude when you never meet the person only based on a loose a rumour is a kind of slander. It is not ann opinion. An option is that the song is bad not personally atrack someone based on nothing. And when some people here defends the person that is wrongly accused by you – you call them Nazis. Increadible, this site is in desperate need of editing.
Problem is you decide a person is terrible based on the account of another person. That is not an opinion at all, that is a personal attack!
And calling other people Nazis for calling you out on that is not doing you favours either..
You can not call somebody terrible becuse another person you do not know did not vibe with her. Where you there to witness it? Do you know anything about it? Maybe Monika was not nice either? maybe Loreen did not want to be bothered?
Terrible attitude??…just stop feeding off other loreen haters spreading rumours
Loreen is a very private and quite introvert as a person. During the Melfest after party she mostly wanted to be with her boyfriend and family in a seperate room.
Nothing wrong with being introvert. I know what it’s like..
Loreen seems very sweet though
LOL, think highly of themselves.. First of, how many viewers will know of this? 5?
Secondly, do not speak of people as if you know about them or assume things about them. Maybe Loreen is introvert and not a people person? In fact even since her Idol days she has been introvert and not vibing with others. But if you see interviews and TV Programs with her you see she is quite humble and kind, always interested in others
It is unfair to build or destroy someone’s reputation and caracter over the account of a single person. Especially if that account is vague or open to interpretation.
Go off sis, feel you oats. Listening to gossip that has been debunked multiple times but you do you, I will vote for my fav song which is Tattoo.
Well, the goal of my answer to your comment wasn’t to star a war. A lot of people said what I was feeling. I don’t say you have to like the song. Actually, I strongly recommend people to express if they like a song or not as it is a song contest and we have to judge the songs. What I was pointing here is that you “attacked” Loreen for her behaviour based on what one person said. We don’t know how Loreen really is. As long as it is this way, I don’t have any reason to boycott her.
Has Mika been sniffing glue?
MIKA’s selection is a joke, the Greece singer that mumbles and Blanka cant even sang her own song.
Wow. Aside from France (7th for me) and Finland (my 2nd) being part of it, I share NONE of my top 10 with MIKA lol
Come on Mika ! You cannot come frequently to Sanremo and say how much you love Italy to put Blanka over Marco Mengoni. You can dislike “Due Vite” but you cannot say that the lyrics are bad or that he does not sing well live.
Did he ever say that Due Vite is bad or that he cannot sing live? All I see is him not putting it into his top 10. Can one not appreciate more than 10 songs? And what does his love for Italy have to do with his love, or lack thereof for Due Vite?
That must be the compensation for Holland! … Poland!
He’s song is boring. I have heard it a million times , nothing new
Of course Loreen leads the OGAE poll. Can they be any more predictable?
OGAE has always been boring and predictable, and obviously not diverse and representative of the audience that watches it during evening.
No, she’s best .
I’m very proud that my top 4 of Spain, Serbia, Portugal and Latvia have only received a combined total of 2 points from the OGAE so far, that means I’ve done a really good job putting together this top 4.
Here was me thinking he’d go right back to slagging off Eurovision again after happily pocketing the hosting pay packet last year.
MIKA’s number two confuses me. The man truly puts this above Italy? I mean, I can respect difference of opinion, but really.
How come Spain does not have a single point? Insane lol
Cos it’s absolute shiiite
Love people with a toilet face and the appropriate name to go with (Azuro) lol , their seem to know a lot about Shiite as always go trough after has been flashed down, how is taste Azuro? lolololol
