Turkey: Can Bonomo’s First Rehearsal 5
Deban: One thing is clear: Turkey won’t draw an indifferent reaction. You’re either going to love it, or hate it. I hate the song, but the staging is very clever. It reminds me of the 2011 Greek Entry “Watch my Dance.” “Love Me Back” is an Indie song that’s very Turkish in its instrumentation and choreography. The LED backdrop is most appropriate. Booming hearts in bright red, and floating anchors to signify the floating ships sailing away. I can’t wait to see the costumes. I have a strong feeling that there might be a few whirling dervishes working the Crystal Arena stage. I’m excited. Could that be possible? I want more of this Turkish Delight!

I was a skeptic when I first heard the song. But now I’m a believer! Great staging.
