Roman Lob sang “Standing Still” at Eurovision, but his career keeps on moving.
The German singer has just released the official video of his song “Call Out the Sun,” the first single from his debut album. Like his Eurovision ditty, this song is straightforward and simple. The video doesn’t rely on theatrics or pyrotechnic effects to convey Lob’s message that you need to keep it cheery. As in Baku, Lob wears a hat. It’s not hot, and it’s not that sunny, but he wants to hide his bald spot from all y’all. (You may remember that we asked him about his obsession with hats in this video interview from Baku).
Roman will be promoting the song and album on his first solo tour, which kicks off this fall in Germany. As part of the “Changes Club Tour” he’ll make 19 stops from October 9 until the middle of November. You can get all the deets on Roman’s ticket website here.
