Another weekend, another batch of fresh entries. As of the afternoon of Sunday 23 February, there are officially 14 songs confirmed for Eurovision 2020.
In the past two days, we’ve seen national finals wrap up in Ukraine, Slovenia and Poland.
But who is your favourite Eurovision 2020 act so far? Do you have a new number one? Or can Lithuania’s The Roop do two in a row? Or could Albania’s Arilena Ara reclaim her crown? It’s time to vote!
You can listen to all five new entries below. Then vote in our poll. Choose wisely, you can only vote ONE time. Voting ends early on Wednesday, 26 February — just ahead of announcements from the UK and Germany.
We will then relaunch the poll on Thursday to include the new songs, along with any other entries which may drop in the interim.
New Eurovision 2020 entries as of 23 February
Go_A “Solovey”
While considerably less dramatic than last year’s edition, Ukraine’s Vidbir 2020 still managed to serve up some fierce competition. Go_A emerged victorious in a six-song final, topping both the jury and public votes. The four-piece bring the Ukrainian-language “Solovey”, which fuses traditional singing styles with modern beats.
Ana Soklič “Voda”
Before the EMA 2020 final, all focus was on familiar names like Tinkara Kovač from Eurovision 2014 and Lina Kuduzović from Junior Eurovision 2015. However, Ana Soklič flew under the radar to snatch the crown from Lina in the superfinal. Her old-school ballad “Voda” marks Slovenia’s third Slovenian-language entry in as many years.
Alicja Szemplińska “Empires”
In an effort to replicate its Junior Eurovision success at the main contest, Poland used the Szansa na sukces TV talent show to find its act. That saw three weeks of covers lead to a three-act final. Alicja Szemplińska came out on top, ahead of Albert Černý who represented the Czech Republic in 2019.

Solovey blows everything out of the water so far.
Poland Lithuania is the best
Life is music, so they’re all composers
I still cant vote for Romania , but i really like 1 of her 5 songs , if they choose cherry red , i think thats easy top 3 with the voters and jury. So far , out of all the songs that i herd , thats the only one i liked. And also i belive that this song will sound alot better live then the studio version. Am i the only one who thinks that?

None, all suck
I liked “Viceversa” by Francesco Gabbani but unfortunately “generalist” song came out winner instead.
Now, that’s a genuine Albanian as we all know them. Love you!!!
Italy is still my favorite! Lithuania is really growing on me. Out of new songs, Ukraine is definitely my favorite. It’s really unique! Slovenia and Poland joined the club of “we’ll see” ballads.
I’m waiting for the UK, Belarus, Croatia, Estonia and Iceland now. Hoping that Oculis videre and Young / Beautiful Lie / Out In Space will join my “WOW” category!
Hope for Beautiful Lie. Unfortunately, Rasmus and Shira are terribile live
Gabriela, first of all, chill little bit and before you saying something, just think if you need to ….cause clever people before says thinks first. Second, just think a little bit of respect, cause when you disrespect others you actually disrespect ONLY YOURSELF. Third, i feel that you are kind of human who comes, makes rumours and goes. So please, better just keep your opinion for yourself and please learn, when to shut your mouth up.
By the way, lots of love, cause i do feel you need it so much !
Not every polish is an a**hole, but if he/she is an a**hole, he/she is definitely gonna be polish. You are proof of that
Oh my god every comment you make makes me less and less fond of Shaj, which is incredibly frustrating since it’s no fault of Arilena or Albania. You are actively tainting the artist you’re trying to support.
How awesome is that? My Eurovision Army and I will also vote for Lithuania if they tell us what software are they using to crack polls. I really want to help San Marino win one of these!
It’s not just odds. How many views does Albanian song has?
1,3 million and the video is on YouTube for 2 months (thats 20,000+ views per day)
Lithuania has almost 1,8 million views in 8-9 days (thats around 200,000 views per day)
It would have had 50 million had it not been removed in early January.
Yeah, it would… Current video is on YouTube for 2 months, which month of the year it is now? The second is nearing the end. This video was uploaded on December 20th and still has just 1,3 million… Far from 50 million!
Norway, Australia, Lithuania, Latvia & Italy
Australia, Albania, Norway and Lithuania are my favorites so far. But i also like Italy, Czech Republic, Latvia and Ukraine.
Yawns! Blah blaah!
And she is working hard for her BOOM as Lithuanian trolls are hacking Wiwi polls, obviously believing that they are worth something! Ridiculous!
Hahahahah you comment says everything for this haterss
1.Lithuania
2.Norway
3.Italy
4.Armenia(she’s Queen)
5.Australia
Crowd Signal is constantly blacklisting their fake VPN IP’s (there are two persons behind these fake Lithuanian votes, one in Klaipeda and another in Kaunas), hence their slow voting rate. They still might be able to crack this poll but it will be the last one of such luck.
You’re really sick person, you need medical attention
Tom Leeb looks like a prince, where the princess prefers Shrek. Annoying hair.
I have to say, your persistence and the sheer insanity of it is hilarious, but also somewhat disturbing.
I don’t know what he said but if he can’t see Albania so high wiwi bloggs can leave Albania out next time. As Arilena said she don’t caree in which position the polls posist her. Stop hating Queen Arilena.
If she doesn’t care, why are you bombarding her with votes? You’re making her and her actual fans look bad.
Becuase that’s the one I like most. Why don’t we have to vote her if we like her. Haters gonna hate
If you vote for her once, sure, vote for your favorite. But starting a ton of different accounts to vote multiple times and give her a boost is no good.
Exactly. Please ask Lithuanians to stop doing that! Everyone is sick of it already!!!
You really think you’re fooling us, don’t you?
I am a little bit disappointed about Eurovision 2020 so far. I just hope that tracks to come are much better. So far, I just like Lithuania. Italy is not bad, but not too original in my opinion. I have not felt winner’s vibes yet. Let’s see what the rest are doing. For some reason, I am quite optimist about UK this year (Thursday I’ll see whether I keep this way or not 🙂
I’m feeling winner vibes from Norway love from Albania! This is a song contest people not a hate contest all our countries are beautiful and good luck to all our beautiful countries
I am not hating, I am just loving other years’ songs better (at least so far). I have the right to have my opinion, haven’t I?
“Lithographs” lololoool, ur nutz, totes!!!
none of them isn’t an option?
Indeed not. In the real Song Contest, there is not a “nothing” option either. Those who do not like do not vote. Simples.

Thank you….
My favorites are Norway, Armenia, And Albania love from Albania! Good luck!
Lithuania is totally overrated, what Albania is doing on the second place is a very big question, probably because of some die hard Albanian fans and Norway being third is just ridiculous. The first decent song is on number four. Yes yes Ukraine has till now the best entry. Let the haters come to me. I’m ready….
imagine, the Ukrainian singer meets you at night and she sings (screams) ….. you run away too.
I’m not that easly scared of something
Well, I think that the Ukrainian screaming is overrated too.
Well yah at least it’s not a complete disaster like the Lithuanian entry
I completely agree with you on Lithuania why on earth people see this as a run away winner so far is just baffling to me, getting zero winner vibes from it compared to the first time I heard songs like rise like a phoenix, only teardrops, Heroes, euphoria and Arcade
It is the first time that Lithuania is at the top of wiwi …
Yeah sure, seems they “bombarded” odds too, huh?
I mean
Rich Lithuanians exist lol
odds are based on bets
if I bet 200000 euro the odds will go down on San Marino too
LRT is creating artificial hype, no one cares about this song outside of the Eurobubble
You’re delusional! ??
Aye! Polskie-Litos have been outed and their lil fraud business is over! Queen Arilena coughs here!!!
Wow, those Arilena’s minions really are annoying. Jealous much? Get over it, Arilena’s song wouldn’t win ESC in a million years
1. Australia
2. Lithuania
3. Ukraine
4. Spain
5. Norway
6. Italy
7. Czechia
8. Belgium
9. France
10. Albania
11. Slovenia
12. Latvia
13. Armenia
14. Poland
Sweden will go straight to the top for me if they select Dotter, Anna, or The Mamas.
My personal favourite is Norway. However it would be nice if Lithuania won therefore all three Baltic countries would have won. Poland is voted really high. I just can’t understand why.
Dotter
Well done Lithuania.
I will keep asking France: Please could you change your song? (You are, you are, you are almost last in the poll.)
I agree they should read the reaction and promptly change the song. The only thing stopping them would be pride? I don’t think cost or common sense would be barriers for France.
Some of France’s fan as me regularly ask it on tweeter to our HOD …. please ask also, maybe this will help ….. 🙁
It seems there are 93 You Ares in that song
I think “the best in me” is beautiful and I am sure that tom leeb will surprise everyone in the bubble.
I‘d never say, that there is a 100% qualifier, as it also depends on staging etc. (There will always be a shocker for fans like Conan last year)
at the moment there are only 3 songs with a fresh progressive sound – lithuania – ukraine – latvia – the rest is always the same old boring stuff. ukraine is a good test for the jurys – they have a very 2020 sound and they singing in their language – i like that a lot but countrys who are singing in their own language often crashed because the jurys are silly and englishjunkies. my favorites so far: at no.1 lithuania & ukraine together (but i will miss the white angel a little bit too – this very strong magic… Read more »
Juries places Albania 2018 high
1. Lithuania
2. Ukraine
3. Australia
4. Italy
5. Belgium
Albania 2nd, some people still don’t know that Me Tana has been robbed.
we are judging the song, not the songs that have been eliminated. I also preferred me tana but we can’t deny that Shaj is a really good song. My current 4th
Some people don’t know how to move on and get a life
I’m sorry but i don’t get Lithuania being first with the bookies at all! In my opinion it’s crazy bad, like last place material. Sorry
Thank you so much that ‘m not the only onewho’ ‘s thinking that
Yeah I don’t like Lithuania either
ok – it seems, here is the little “we hate the fire” club. ha-ha
Lithuania
Ukraine
Czech Republic
Italy
The rest are not to my liking as such.
Strong showing for Eastern/Central Europe so far, perhaps the contest is going back there in 2021?
Roxen and “Alcohol You” is stunning
Stop drinking please 😀
4 days for the songs from israel…israel isnt playing this year, stay tuned
Is it true that Go A stated that they dont have money to attend eurovision and they are looking for ways of funding since the broadcaster is only funding the 50% ?
1) Lithuania 2) Italy 3) Norway 4) Belgium 5) Latvia 6) Spain 7) Ukraine 8) Czech Republic 9) Albania 10) Poland 11) Australia 12) Slovenia 13) Armenia 14) France
As for the second semi: Poland could, like I said before, be in their first position to qualify with both the televote and the juries if their performance is good (I’m almost positive they’ve been struggling as much as they have with the juries because their staging is usually pretty unmemorable, or too gaudy in the case of the milkmaids. I’m not entirely sure why they did as badly as they did with Michal Szpak, though). This is a more NF-heavy semi so there’s obviously ways countries could swing from totally safe to totally screwed, and sometimes the same performers… Read more »
I wouldn’t be so sure about Slovenia or Ukraine. Slovenia pretty much demands a jury push if it’s going to get through, like North Macedonia last year. Ukraine could be off-putting to people who aren’t used to that kind of singing, given the Tulia comparisons. (But they got close and they were freaking robbed, so go and do them justice, Go_A. At least we know Belarus isn’t in any danger of taking anyone’s spot in the final this year). Australia I’m a little nervous for as well if they don’t fix the staging, and Belgium could sweep that jury vote… Read more »
Oh, and Sweden! Sweden have ways of breezing through as usual and ways of getting screwed. We’ve seen them advance even with few Nordic countries around and fail to advance even with a solid bolstering from them (Denmark and Norway both gave them 12’s in 2010, but nothing doing). If they pick someone like Dotter or the Mamas, they’re safe. If they pick someone like Robin Bengtsson, they’re 100% out of there.
And with Croatia, we know diddly even though they’re doing a national final, so they’re either safe or (if they send another Roko) very very screwed.
Sweden I’d call 85% safe. Ukraine you may be right on. I can’t say I know where your confidence is coming from with Slovenia, since even if they make it I don’t think they’d “sail through,” but we shall see.
Sweden could send a dog barking that they would be on top of the juries and qualify.
Just saying, their one non-qualification was because of the juries. The televote would’ve sent them through.
Just imagine, how progressive and modern would be a dog barking to some electronic music. That would be awesome 😀 😀 😀
Yes and no. Like you said, the song has to be good, or if people don’t understand it the staging has to be amazing. Slovenia is another ballad in a semi that’s shaping up to have a bunch of them, so they’ll need to be really on-point if they want to advance. They don’t have much neighborly support so if they want to qualify that’s all they can hope for.
Slovenia sucks! Dated ballad.
People be sleeping on Czech hardcore. There’s a remake happening too and it will have a more Afro-beat to it to lessen out the repetition.
Czech Republic is already great and the revamp (apparently it has guitar!) looks very promising. Benny sounds like a great guy who’s open to feedback and improvement, the precise kind of performer that the Czech Republic does well with and the kind that guarantees a good result. They’ve lately been excellent at getting performers with radio-friendly sounds who nevertheless have an even give-and-take with the Czech creative team.
Its the repetition that kills it for me. After a very exciting start, the song just loops into a very unsatisfying ending. If they can fix the last third of the song, i’ll be all in.
1. Italia 9/10
2. Lituania 8/10
3. Eslovenia 8/10
4. España 7/10
5. Ucrania 7/10
6. Noruega 7/10
7. República Checa 6/10
8. Bélgica 6/10
9. Letonia 5/10

12. Francia 1/10
13. Armenia 0/10
14. Polonia 0/10
No song is worthy of a 0/10. Except Celebrate by Piero and the MusicStars.
Celebrate is masterpiece to Lisa Mona Lisa from Austria 1988.
and Belgium 1985
Belgium 1985 is nowhere near as bad as Celebrate. Not even a little. It was boring, but it wasn’t Celebrate. Lisa Mona Lisa is quite terrible, but at least his enthusiasm was kind of endearing.
Please Joe, dont remember me of Piero, even worse than Michael von der Heide :S (and he already was bad..)
That the same country is capable of songs as tight as She Got Me or Ne partez pas sans moi could ever send a song as sloppy as Celebrate boggles my mind. How did anyone think that was a good idea for any reason whatsoever, ESPECIALLY if it’s the first time they needed to qualify to compete in the final? Who did they think would vote for it? Even Austria and Germany weren’t going to touch it, just like not even Ireland or Malta would lower themselves to vote for Jemini the year before.
Why are y’all hating on Armenia
I didn’t say anything about Armenia!
