The maker of several high-placing songs and outright winners of Eurovision, Vidbir is once again their method to search for the next Eurovision act to represent Ukraine and hope to bring victory #4 to the country.
Eleven candidates will compete for the chance to fly the Ukrainian flag in Malmö, but who will reign supreme?
We want to hear from you. You can listen to each of the eleven acts in the Vidbir official playlist below. Then vote in our poll.

Yaktak for me. Fun and modern. Doesn’t give “:Look at us, We so sad, Vote for us” vibes. I must admit the Mother Teresa song has a catchy melody that I found myself humming today out of nowhere, but those English lyrics… “born as a human beings”… Bad English in songs is a pet peeve of mine.
Also Jerry Heil gives me sad-girl-Victoria vibes (which for me is a minus).

I am happy wiwiblogs is reporting on ukrain selection process, but the fact wiwiblogs is banning israel and not reporting on israel selection is a disgrace, like israel was not attacked just like ukraine, the fact that israel responded to the attack is a reason to bann israel? Some strong contenders here. Do not get the high marks for Melovin. Like 3 or 4 different songs rolled into 1. Guess there’s something for everyone then.
My favourite is Yagody but I wouldn´t complain if the girls will win.

I really struggle to get the appeal of Melovin. In 2018 he had this weird song with probably the worst English Ukraine ever sent. Now it’s not much better, and there are actually good songs to choose from so why is he even being considered?
I don’t find Eurovision to be a place for religious songs and personalities sorry. Melovin’s one is a bop, Yagody not bad too
Seeing the reception of Teresa & Maria overall and the streams etc I would have thought she would landslide the poll… they are among my favs, I like Yaktak, Melovin and Nahaba songs a lot too.

I wasn’t a fan of Melovin back in 2018 but I kinda like this song. Lyrics certainly aren’t great but I like the vide of the song. It’s either this or Jerri Heil & Alyona Alyona.

Yagody because it’s catchy and has no cringeworthy English lyrics which is a real selling point in this particular selection. If I ignore cringeworthy lyrics, Teresa & Maria becomes quite good. Just don’t pick Melovin, it’s terrible.

They are definitely coming from the same person. There are certain distinguishing features: (mostly) Slavic female usernames and the question marks in their comments suggesting they are using non standard characters. I counted at least 10 of them below.

Well, and what’s wrong with it? This link is shared everywhere, I saw it first in my Eurovision chat. Yes, I’m also eurofan, like you, even with the ticket for one of the grand finals show )) And of course, I want the victory of the song that I like to represent my country.
Don’t be so scared with Dreamer’s popularity. Mélovin is loved by the public! Think over the things that big money of the big labels, which stand behind other contestants, do or their promotion

Alyona alyona & Jerry Heil is the obvious choice for Ukraine. I also like Anka and Nahaba. If Ukraine picks Melovin -which seems likely- he will do worse than last time. Not the strongest Vidbir of the last few years I have to say.

Melovin has an amazing voice! The song Dreamer is very interesting. It’s easy to hum and dance to. I like it very much

My favorite is Melovin with the song Dreamer, which is dedicated to the singer, poet and composer Volodymyr Ivasyuk, who was destroyed by the Soviet communication regime for his Ukrainian creativity

I think this is the most “open” Vidbir we have seen to date. The poll says it’s between two acts, but realistically anyone could win the show on the night. The songs all bring something different, so I look forward to the final.

For me, it’s Jerry/Alyona or Melovin, but I’m going to be happy and sad at the same time because the other didn’t win. Other than that there are a few I’d be happy to win, but I want to see the lives first. It’s one of the only NFs that I could see multiple winners.
The way Jerry heil and Alyona is being hyped online I thought it would cruise to victory.

in a lesser strong vidbir, Jerry and Alyona would for sure cruise to victory, but tbh Melovin also brings that really great bop, what also really screams ukrainian music + but also vocally if he can deliver all of that well live, i see him win yes, there are some really technically difficult vocal bits in there

Disgusting is a strong word though – also they seem like a range of pretty typical Eurovision pop songs, so it’s kind of strange that you find them “disgusting” if you’re a Eurovision fan
