It’s been one month since wiwibloggs kicked off their poll to determine who will win Eurovision 2012. In the first four weeks of voting, you guys have cast an impressive 11,889 votes for your favorite contestants. The last time we checked in, Sweden’s Loreen had a commanding lead over Serbia’s Zeljko Joksimovic (1,037 votes vs. 732 votes). But Romania’s Mandinga (“Zaleilah”) have made impressive gains since then and have risen from seventh place with 264 votes to second with 1,698. They now trail front-runner Loreen by just 93 votes. This is the first real challenge the “Euphoria” singer has faced since our contest started.
Serbia’s Joksimovic (“Love Is Not a Thing”) drops to third position with 989 votes, and he’s followed closely by Cyprus’ Ivi Adamou (“La La Love”) and Greece’s Eleftheria Eleftheriou (“Aphrodisiac”). Both of these ladies competed on Greek X-Factor. And both of these ladies have 731 votes. This is getting creepy. Albania’s Rona Nishliu—who recently gave Wiwibloggs a fantastic interview at Eurovision in Concert—is holding steady in sixth place with 597 votes. She also remains in second place with the Wiwi Jury.
Ireland’s Jedward appear to have been submerged beneath the “Waterline.” They have dropped from fifth place to ninth place. Rounding out the Top 10, the United Kingdom is in seventh, Spain is in eighth, and Turkey is in tenth.

Nice and easy and summer hit was Lucia Perez last year with Spain ,and ?? was in the last places , the same way go to be Romania this year , because this is much more cheap than Lucia , 100%
Mandinga cheating?, relly?, why, its a nice song, people like it, probably is not the best, but what means the best for you here, i think it means to be a nice and easy song to remember. Romania has a summer song, a holliday song, its nice and i hope they win. Good luck Mandinga !
haha cryspy ur so funny just like robert and delusional too… romania has 5% they are not second now learn that and get it through ur head. u mad now dudette
YES ! Greece, Cyprus and Albania in the top 5 !!! Now the competition gets serious
Honestly, the best song this year is Sound of our hearts by Compact disco, followed by Shoul’ve known better by Soluna Samay. However, I’d love Loreen to win because her song is ”a song for the masses” plus it’s not too cheesy, fake and cliche as La la love which I simply can not, can not stand. If not Loreen, then Željko Joksimovi?, because for once in my life I like the song which is representing my country and I’d love to book a ticket for next years’ ESC in Belgrade. 😀 Anyway…I love Jedward. I’d be the happiest person on… Read more »
I think Sulejman is from Cyprus and not from Sweden, and he is upset because Cyprus is nr 4 .
i never said romania and arash? where the heck does it stand like that? i mean azerbajan or how ever you spell it now…yeah i know you hacked the poll thats what stupid rumanians do so hard to admit that sweden is better this year? loreen beats ur mandinga handinga everywhere everyday everynight…you mad now? dudette?
Well, as I can see, most of the people hates Mandinga! Why? Because it is a strong contender for the 1st place!!! And thanks to all who are supporting Romania this year!!!!
EXCUSE ME ????!!!!! Arash…2009…ROMANIA? whaaat the hell ? That was Azerbaijan, not Romania ! God, I think you have dissociative identity disorder. And yeah, we hacked the poll, we hacked this blog, we will hack the entire Eurovision and then the entire world. Jealous? You mad, bro?
I still don’t understand why Moldovas: Pasha Parfeny with “Lautar” ranks so low. It really is a good song. explain?
Romania has a really boring song this year! i really mean it! the should have won with arash 2009
But they are not the winner and im not dancing to that song.LOL
What make me feel the Mandingas song is sad , nearly cry because is sooooo bad song
It doesn’t matter if Romania wins or not. It is important that Mandinga’s song “Zaleilah” makes a lot of people happier and makes people sing and dance with them.. I’m very proud of my country. Mandinga, you are the best, go conquer Europe!!!
romania hacked the poll
Viva España y AmunT Valencia. El 9 de Mayo nos vemos en Bucarest.
Spain go to win , Pastora can sing better spanish than the romanian barbie,100%
@Sulejman:
What’s actually your problem? Like someone else said before, Mandinga shared this link on their Facebook page. There’s nothing wrong at it, isn’t it?
And how do you think Romania has only 5%? In cold print Romania achieves 14,28%. How can you strengthen your argument?
Gosh, I would really like to have your problems. Stop taking it seriously! Finally we will see the results on 26th of May, so please calm down! WE ARE NO CHEATERS!!
I’m having fun reading the feisty comments here!
Romania is at 5% people they hacked the people thats what stupid rumanians do! its cheating not winning so ur at 5% now get it thorugh ur head!
Sulejman, what the heck is your problem? I see that your jealous and stuff, but please, control yourself. Where are you from? Why are you so jealous about Romania being second? And as I said…stop embarrassing yourself.
Sweden!:)
românia .
Romania!
Romania :X of course
ROMANIAAAAAAA! <3
You are on 5% end of story!
we hacked the poll? omg, what a joke ! why would we do that? the reason why Mandinga gained so many votes is because they shared the link on their facebook and everybody has voted for Mandinga ever since ! Stop making excuses !!!
Sorry, Deban. You just were overruled.
GO- ROMANIA – GO
